“Palm Beach, Aruba at the Radisson Aruba Resort”
Reviewed January 17, 2013

We are there as we speak! We arrived on Tuesday and the sun has not failed us one iota for one moment! The beach is wide and clean as a whistle; the Radisson is lovlier than ever! The staff here cannot be more accommodating. Everyone, without exception, greets the guests with a "bon dia" (good day!) and a smile. We have recommended this property many times before and will continue to do so, based upon what we've seen this week. The restaurants within walking distance are among the best on the island: Gianni's (Italian); JH Yees (Asian); Hard Rock Cafe; Rembrandt; Sunset Grille (steak; at the Radisson); Blossom's (Asian...at the Westin); Hostaria da Vittorio. .. the list goes on and on. Other great restaurants are a short cab ride away: Chalet Suisse; Madam Janette; Sole Mare....etc. etc. Aruba has more to offer, in our opinion, than any other six islands combined!! And, to top it off, the Radisson's location on Palm Beach is the best location on the best beach on the island!!

“Sort of a Tourist Trap”
Reviewed January 16, 2013

We stayed at the Westin in Palm Beach, so everything was in walking distance. There are many options to eat, but the prices are prohibitive (this is not a cheap place to visit). The stores were filled with absolute junk (Aruba plastered on everything made in China), but some of the smaller display tables at night had some local handicrafts/jewelry. It is dark in some spots, but never felt uneasy. Locals are friendly and there was no hassles.

“Lots of action with beautiful views”
Reviewed January 15, 2013

Palm Beach is a hub of activity as it occupied by many of the fancy high-rise hotels. You can find just about any type of water sport here, and the sand is like sugar. There are several great little beach bars and restaurants, too. It's perfect for recreational swimming and snorkeling.
