Simple clean rooms. Staff was great. Breakfast is a bit simple and common, but good. Heavy European influences. Best location on Aruba . . . . . Eagle Beach. Sand is like powder. Beach is always empty. Need to go further north for diving, but the water is just as clear. ENJOY!

Room Tip: Second floor rooms have great ocean views.

We loved our stay at MVC Eagle Beach. The room was comfortable, clean, and pleasant. Minor problems were fixed promptly. The location is stupendous -- right across the street from Aruba's best beach by far, and one of the best beaches anywhere. The staff, especially the office manager were all very friendly and helpful -- like family really. The outside is beautifully designed with flowering plants, palms, gazebo, and nice table on the sheltered deck in front of each room. Parking is convenient and ample. Having a laundromat on site is a big plus. And the endless supply of fine beach towels makes life so much easier! We couldn't avail ourselves much of the restaurant because we are vegetarians, but it looked very nice. Above all the price is a total steal!!! Top marks all around. This is a real review, this place is really that good.

Room Tip: Just 16 units, half on second floor accessible by outdoor spiral staircase only, so go with first floor if that doesn't suit you.

This is a small quaint hotel in Eagle Beach - not luxurious, but clean, cute rooms. The beach across the street is gorgeous, downtown is about a $10 cab ride away. The restaurant food is delicious and the staff if super friendly. Their service was above and beyond what I expected. If you want a quiet vacation and friendly service, this is a great spot.

We just returned from 5 days at MVC Eagle Beach. It was a wonderful experience for both of us. I just can't say enough about how much the staff paid so much attention to detail and everyone made sure the stay was enjoyable. The location is between the high rise hotels and town so you can even walk to town as we did one morning. The place was clean, comfortable and a short walk to the beach. The real gem is the Tulip restaurant, an excellent chef and staff to accomodate the most discriminating tastes. I would recommend this place for the value and service and location. We had a very enjoyable stay and would definitely stay here again when in Aruba.

My wife and I thought MVC Eagle Beach was a little charming beach hotel based on the photos on Travelocity. We quickly realized on arrival it wasn't a charmer when we were directed to an office the size of a broom closet to checked-in. And, the broom closet was locked. After a five minute wait, a happy little woman check us in and showed us to our upgraded ocean view room from a room that would have had a nice view of the rooftop.

Before I dive in further, let me say this. MVC is not a horrible hotel. It is a basic inn on par with a Super 8 motel with no real amenities. If you are seeking a motel on a budget for only resting your head as you are going to be out and about all day, this may work for you. However, it wasn't what we had in mind.

Our MVC room was clean for the most part. The areas of concern was the bathroom with its missing title behind the door; small shower (no bathtub) with a handheld shower head; an extra small sink; and an odd toilet that seemed like a bad sanitary design from the 60's. And, I wouldn't use the provide clothes line in the bathroom as it had black stains, which most likely was mold. Other guests may have felt the same as they hung wet clothes from the rail outside their doors.

The rooms are small. The swimming pool is smaller and the matress is thin. Note the swimming pool is the size do two whirlpool tubes. The best part of our brief stay at MVC was the staff. They are friendly, funny and a enjoy to converse with. Though we would never go back to this motel, the people made it more pleasurable.

After staying at MVC for two days, my wife and I packed up to move to The Westin Resort down the road. The Westin is more in line with how we envisioned our stay in Aruba and would absolutely return, especially given their amenities, staff that went above and beyond to accommodate us and provide us the little extras that made us feel appreciated and welcomed.

Lastly, you should know MVC has office hours for check-in. So, if you flight arrives late because of American Airlines you will not be able to check-in. Thank goodness we decided to stay in Miami at the Viceroy when American Airlines rebooked our flight that forced us to miss our connection. We would have had to sleep on the beach given MVC's closet room office hours.
