We stayed at the Marriott and ordered food and drinks on the beach and by the pool all week.. no complaints. Sometimes it was tricky to find a server, but once you ordered, everything came fairly quickly. The food was actually very good. The food and drink was a bit expensive, but so is everything else in Aruba. I would say it was slightly overpriced compared to the rest of the island, but you're paying for the convenience of someone bringing your food to your beach chair, so it's worth it. Tried many specialty drinks and a good chunk of the menu, satisfied with everything. Wait for the happy hour specials and it becomes a good value!!

We had lunch @ Waves 6 times, either at the restaurant or via beach service (for food and drinks). Try the Fish Tacos, Grouper, and Reuben. Robert and Aimee made the experience special, every time we saw them.

You can eat here on the beach outside the Aruba Marriott & Stellaris Casino. The servers will walk through and ask if anyone would like drinks/lunch. We ate lunch here almost everyday on the beach and let me say that the food was heavy. The limited menu presents typical sandwiches far too heavy for lunch on the beach in my opinion. After eating I felt lethargic and sleepy (each sandwich is served with a heaping mound of fries). Marriott should present more healthy options on their menu. Also food is overpriced. Some servers are good some are bad depending on who you get.

food was average, everything you would expect from a resort beach bar.
service was meh, all depends on who you get. Fernando was great, but some of the others cared more about talking to their local friends.

Get the fish tacos. The end. Also say hello to Brian & Fernando our two favorite guys there. Happy hour 2-4-1 drinks. Get the Myers or 151 floaters :)
