Went to the Bucuti for 5 nights as part of my 2 week honeymoon in Aruba and Curacao – stayed in the Penthouse Suite – room 341 – absolutely awesome!

The reviews are spot-on this hotel is great for a romantic break (of course remember you are surrounded by loads of other honeymooners too!!!) The place is really geared up for honeymooners with a welcome balloon, champagne, etc which is really nice touch! They also let you keep your room keys – nice touch I’d say!

The penthouse suite was amazing, massive bed, lounge, kitchen and massive balcony with BEST VIEWS EVER of the beach and across the sea! If you like sunsets then this is perfectly located to watch them directly in front of you! Amazing!

Pool is great – big double lounge bed things to lie on and beach is so un-spoilt and quiet with crisp blue sea!

Staff very friendly and whole hotel very clean!

Only downer is the breakfast (not great!), the smell of the lobby in the Tara Suite bit and the Pirates Nest (great location, but food not great!)

Also there’s not much nearby so you have to get a cab to eat anywhere nice!

Still highly recommended for sure if you want a honeymoon hotel and definitely worth the extra cash to get the best room! We loved it!!

We are one of the honeymooner's who seemed to fill the property at Bucuti. Wonderful beach, lovely hotel and attentive staff. We took advantage of listing the Bucuti amenities as part of our wedding registry options so we were able to use the nearly $500 we go in gift certificates on meals and the bar and miscellaneous treatments. We stayed in the Tara Suites - lovely, simple & chic accommodations. Just what we wanted for our private & intimate honeymoon. Not a kid in sight! Loved the iguanas that roamed on the property. Had NO problem getting a palapa to lounge in at the beach or chairs for the pool. I would love to return... miss it already.

Some Cons:
The Pirates Nest Restaurant is OK. Not great - the food was no imaginative or especially delicious but passable. The bar was SLOW and INCOMPETENT at times. They were nice enough but wow... SLOW.

Went to the Bucuti on our Honeymoon, the hotel markets itself to this market and we can now see why - excellent hotel, facilities, food and no kids to be seen anywhere - we had no great urge to leave the resort during our 2 weeks to venture outside and everything we could ever want was contained within - highly recommend and would have every intention of returning in the future

This is a lovely well run hotel. The staff are all extremely efficient and pleasant, nothing was too much trouble. After a horrendous journey from the UK having missed our connection in Schipol with KLM, we arrived 16 hours late very tired and stressed, but it was soon all forgotten as we settled into this relaxing hotel.

The hotel does not cater for children and for us this added to the enjoyment as it was so peaceful.

Our room was very comfortable with everything we needed, the breakfast in the Pirates Nest was great, lunches and dinners were not so great but adequate and there are so many restaurants to choose from this was not a problem.

The beach is the nicest we have ever been to. Lovely soft sand and the warm sea which was a delight. Very hard to drag ourselves away to look around the island, but we did.

All in all a great holiday and would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a relaxing time.

Room in Tara Wing Suites was great! Comfortable and clean. Breakfast was average to below average. Beach was heavenly. Not crowded at all. Staff was very friendly. We did have a problem with booking a trip. Stephanie told us to go downtown instead of the Holiday Inn to connect with our Submarine trip. We almost missed our reservation and had to pay extra taxi fare. Not many restaurants around the Bucuti so you have to take alot of taxi rides. If I were to go back to Aruba I would stay here again.
