These guys are the best in Aruba. Best staff, best gear, best value. I met with 4 kite surfing companies along Palm Beach before choosing one. Most of them were just a bunch of employees doing their job, not very informative, not very excited and they certainly did not inspire me to spend 8 hours learning anything from them…..Angie and her husband at Aruba Kit Surf own the business and Angie is clearly passionate about her customers and wants them to have a great experience. She was informative, walked me through all the gear, all the kite sizes, what I should expect in each lesson…..her prices were actually a bit better than the others. My first lesson with Juan Carlos was easy and he taught both the knowledge of flying the kite as well as the feel……my second lesson with Tatia was also excellent, more advanced and more difficult but she helped me make progress. My third lesson with Tatia was more frustrating, in part because I was struggling but also I felt Tatia was teaching at more of a technical level while I needed to learn more about the feel….I really appreciated that I was able to change instructors. No one was offended and they all just wanted me to be successful…that was great. My last lesson with Juan Carlos was just what I needed, practicing one step at a time. I was successful even though I was only able to get up three or four times. Great experience, great value and I would recommend Aruba Kite Surfing to anyone who wants to learn this sport.
