This hotel is great! It is small, fun and a great price. The location is perfect, as well. For the kids the pool is always a fun option-with HUGE waterfalls and a waterslide. The people in aruba are always nice, but at the OC it seems that they are 10x nicer! You have a watersport cabana right on the beach-for those who like to snorkel, scuba, tube or just take a boat ride. If you walk down the hall in the lobby, you will see a couple of cute stores and an ice cream shop, which are all perfect.
They have great food there, as well. The breakfast buffet is DELICOUS, as is the Pavillion, a small little grill right on the beach. You may also walk to Moomba Beach or Pelican Pier, which both offer great food-day and night.
The rooms are the usual, with a jacuzzi. Expect that from a Marriot. As always, the decks are nice and the beds are super comfortable.
If you and your family are ever looking for a great get away, look no farther than the Ocean Club, Aruba

We usually stay at the Holiday Inn which is pretty basic and the food mediocre but we decided to go upscale and weren't disappointed. We had a 2 bedroom unit which had a king and queen and pullout queen. We also had a full kitchen and 2 bathrooms. The unit was modern, spotless and quiet. The hotel has a coffee shop and small store for milk, cereal and some basics. We usually made bkfst and ate out for lunch and dinner. The pool is nice, getting a palapa was usually hassle free. You can pay extra and reserve for a few days ahead but there were lots available when I went at 830 and did not need to pay. The beach is clean and convenient for the Vela windsurf hut where we sail. I recommend this place and my only complaint is that it is about a 10-15 walk to the restaurants and shops along the main drag.

I kow alot of people were asking about construction @ the marriots. There is a pool being put in between the hotel and the ocean club. It should be done in october.Was some noise during the day but not every day.Rest of the place was awesome as usual. Great beach and super clean.
