This is what you will get here; a great location and sunset view on the beach, a very friendly and attentive staff (say hi to Frank ask how his softball tournament went), and food very typical of everywhere else along the beach. We were a little disappointed with dessert but that was about it. Worth checking out if you are in the area.

This is my 3rd review of Pure Beach. We own at Divi Phoenix and on our previous visit we were really disappointed in how Pure a Beach had gone downhill in all aspects, with the exception of atmosphere. I am happy to report that it would seem Management is listening. We ate at Pure Beach 3 times during our 2 weeks and were very pleasantly surprised to see they are back on track for casual, informal dining in a lovely beach front setting. On two occasions the Manager stopped by tables to check that everyone was happy and was waiting tables as well. I really enjoy the fish (grouper) tacos. On one occasion a person in our party (Italian Canadian) ordered pizza....it isn't very good, especially for someone who knows good pizza!

One negative, during the day there is one bartender at the pool bar who is rude! We overheard a gentleman complain to him when he stood for an inordinate time waiting for his change while the bartender was busying himself with non-customer related activities. We were floored when the bartender told him "The island is too busy anyway, why don't you go home!" This is a theme for this one bartender and the reason we avoid the bar at the pool during his shift. He does need to be let go and I'm sure that Management has many complaints about him.

Everything else we ordered very good and all other staff were friendly and helpful. we love the beachfront atmosphere with the sound of the surf and a tropical breeze. Keep it up Pure Beach and lose the nasty bartender.

I had the Caesar salad with shrimp. My husband had the shrimp entree....It was okay the food is only fair. But the atmosphere is beautiful!

Went with a group of friends while on vacation in Aruba. We were staying at the Divi Village and this was at one of their sister properties so it was heavily advertised on site. We should have been suspicious when we arrived and there were not that many other people at the restaurant. The concept was very cool. All of the tables were on the beach. We went when it was dark but I'm sure the view would have been amazing at sunset. The view/location/atmosphere was about all this restaurant has going for it. The service was very poor. It seemed like they were short staffed. The food was just average or even below average per some of our friends. Mulligan's was our least favorite meal on the island. Pure Ocean was the next on our list. Oddly, they were both on Divi properties and we loved staying at the Divi Village. Makes me think that Divi should stick to what they are good at (hotels) and stay out of the restaurant business.

We stayed at the Divi Phoenix and on our last day we were both in the mood for Pizza so we decided to give it a try at Pure Beach. We ordered the Italian pizza to go so we could take it up to our room to eat it. It cost $ 21.00 total which I really don't understand because the pizza was $14.95 and with 15% service charge it should have only come to $ 17.19. I'm not sure if we had to pay extra because we ordered it to go or not but for a pizza that was only about 12 inches big, I thought it was very pricy. It did not have any pepperoni on it and what ever kind of Italian meat they used tasted so nasty that neither one of us were able to eat any more than a small piece. The rest was thrown in the garbage. A total waste of money!
