My husband and I got the special of the evening King Fish. Maybe it was just us, but it was tasteless to both of us. It was a HUGE portion and the waiter was very nice but we didnt really care for the food. There were not many people in the restaurant. We went about 45 min before sunset and were the only people there.

We have been to Aruba 11 times and eat here for dinner and lunch. The Gary Delights (fried grouper bites) are amazing! And their mahi mahi is fresh and cooked perfectly. And the atmosphere is great. You get to enjoy your delicious meal while sitting on a pier surrounded by turquoise water. Just beautiful! You have to give this place a try and make sure to go at sunset! Very romantic!!

Do not let the bad reviews keep you from dining at this restaurant. We debated after reading several of them, but decided to take a chance and were glad we did. We actually ate here twice while vacationing in Aruba. Many reviewers here have complained about the 15% additional service charge, but we figured that a taxi ride to another location would be as much, if not more than what the service charge might be for our family of four. We were staying at Marriott Stellaris and were able to walk from our hotel to dinner. As for the service charge, MOST restaurants in Aruba have this 15% fee, but not all actually charge you for it. We chose this restaurant for the location, which is outstanding. The entire restaurant is completely above the water, with a spectacular view any time of the day, especially during sunset. Many of the tables are literally at water's edge. The service was a little slow, but who is in a hurry when the ambiance is amazing? Our food was excellent. We all had seafood dishes and the Mahi Mahi and Grouper were fantastic. The sides are fresh vegetables and rice, which were also very good. When you are seated, a basket of rolls is brought to your table. We ordered the conch fritters, which were very tasty, but the order was small and expensive for what you got. On our second visit, we ordered calamari which our son said was some of the best he has had, and he frequently orders it as an appetizer. Give this restaurant and chance and think you will be pleased.

Did not go there because of a suggestion from TA. Just happened to be hungry and it was there. Food was okay, menu was alright. Would not go out of my way to go there again.

This visit started out nice, nice location, great service, and OK food, but when the check came there was a 15% "service" charge added on to the bill. There is a litlle note stating that this is NOT a gratuity and a card that attempted to explain what this was for, but didn't make a lot of sense to any of us. Left feeling like we just got ripped off and will not be going back. There are two many other excellent restaurants in Aruba to put up with this . Go somewhere else!
