While staying at the Hyatt, we stumbled on this gem by accident one evening. It is just a short walk up the beach at the neighboring resort. Not satisfied with the food at our resort, we decided to give this a try, and it could not have been better. Azzurro bills itself as authentically Italian, and it shows. The pasta was freshly made and perfectly al dente. The mozzarella was made in house as well. There is not a bad choice on the menu, but I am partial to the carbonara with a nice chianti. Perfection. And I'm Italian, so that's saying something. The interior is a mix of italian statues/fountains, crowded tables, and boisterous, happy servers which manages to mingle with the gorgeous beach views and breezes. Somehow it works. I used to dream of going back to Aruba, but now I dream of going back to Azzurro. Sigh.
