We were recommended to go here and it was good to very good but not outstanding. There are many high quality restaurants within a 10-15 minute taxi ride from this place so the
'bar' is higher than perhaps it should be. The ambience is good with plenty of indoor seating available as well as some outdoor seating. We were very happy with the meal but would probably want to try other new restaurants next time before returning to this one.

3 of our diners got the grilled black grouper prepared with different seasonings and sauces. All people that tried it agreed that it was very well done and a generous portion size. I had the seared blacked tuna and it was excellent - perfectly prepared and very filling. Another diner had the salmon with soba noodles. Popular appetizers were the ceviche, gazpacho, and shrimp roti. The mud pie dessert was excellent. Less popular choices were the cheesecake, which was very dry, and the raw clams (good, but on rather small). Another complaint is that our choice of wine was unavailable, and we had to buy a more expensive choice. Overall, the meal was not quite as expensive as other places we went to on this trip.

Extremely noisy.
Got swordfish, was good, next vist (same week) was dry as a bone. When I complained, they tried to tell me swordfish is a dry fish. I'm from New England, so I know fish. Went back the next year and same thing overcooked fish. Not even an offer of a dessert or discount on the bill. Husband liked his grouper though!
I will never go back. Too many nicer places to eat.

We were recommended to this dive shop by a couple of locals in a pharmacy downtown. While we were signing up, the owner mentioned the cafe next door, where we decided to have lunch. Very relaxed, quiet, outdoor dining, with personalized service. Mostly locals dining here. Without a doubt the best Aruban style barracuda we had on the island. Homemade hand dipped onion rings. Tapas specials daily. Very reasonable prices. Located behind the hospital and near the low rise hotels. Give them a try. By the way ...an honest dive shop, offering nearly private diving instruction (max 4, usually 1-2) at usual group rates.
