Description: Le Bistro is located across from the Holiday Inn Beach Resort on the Palm Beach boulevard strip.Managed by the owners, Le Bistro stands out between the brightly colored shops of the Paseo Herencia Shopping Mall. It is a spot of understated elegance and affordable luxury. A team of very good chefs and waiters serve hot and cold beverages, lunch and dinner items in a French Mediterranean style. This means that the tiny amount of extra thought and effort makes coming back a next time so easy.

First off, they were WAAAY too aggressive! While looking at their menu, we were inundated with pressure to dine with them. We decided to go elsewhere. However, after dinner, we went back here to order a slice of cheesecake. We wanted it to go. They ushered us to seats anyway. Upon paying, they brought us the incorrect change. They then attempted to give us Aruban Florin. This would not have been an issue had it not been for the fact we felt they were attempting to take advantage. I made him take the cheesecake back and give us the original $10 bill he was initially given.

Good evening 2TravelLuvers,

As management team we apologize for any inconvenience. We understand that you were assign to a seat to wait for your cheesecake, however as part of F&B guest service we emphasize in giving the best service to take-away guest or for in-dinning. Ex. If an order was placed To-Go, we encourage our guests to be seated while the food is being prepared.

Concerning the $10 change, the correct change was given. Being in Aruba we are aloud to give our guests change back in Aruban Florins.

As management team we really encourage 2TravelLuvers to scroll the page and understand the service we provide to our quality guests.

Thank you for your review

Kind Regards,

My husband & I were there in Feb & went to walk around the mall area & came upon this restaurant & decided to try it. The seating was set up outside in the plaza common area cordoned off. The hostess was trying to get customers in. Where we ate was outside on the patio in the mall area so people are walking by while you're eating but we love to people watch so it was great. The restaurant itself is down a few store fronts from the outside patio. We waited a little bit for a waitress then she told us it was her first day. We were not really in a hurry as we're on vacation relaxing so no rush really! We had the spicy garlic shrimp for an appetizer which was delicious, the shrimp were very large & fresh. I ordered the garlic shrimp pasta dish & my husband the Cajun seared tuna. We waited a little bit & started wondering if we made a good decision or not. Our drinks came & mine definitely was not what I ordered & the mgr quickly came over & corrected it & told us it was a new bartender as well. They quickly came back with the correct drink. Our food was delicious! I had 8 large fresh shrimp in with my pasta & the sauce was very tasty & came with garlic bread. The portion was just right. My husbands Cajun seared tuna came out cooked perfectly like seared tuna should be, many restaurants have no idea how to cook it seared it should only be a minute or so on each side so basically raw in the middle. He loved his dish & was very excited that it came out cooked correctly! Totally enjoyed our meals! My dish was $20 & his $24 our total for the app, meals & 2 alcoholic mixed drinks was about $70. We just wished we had found this place earlier in the week as we would definitely had eaten there more often. The fresh fish, the flavor, portions (not huge but just right) & the value can't be beat! What we found out during the week is the places that people talk about all the time like Madamme Jeannetts & Gianni's are totally over rated. Try this place it will become a favorite!

We stopped here for lunch last week during our stay in Aruba - it was fantastic. This was one of the very few eateries open on Sunday. The service was great, our server Valerie was exceptionally friendly and helpful. I am a vegetarian and as there were no vegetarian options included on the lunch menu they were nice enough to prepare an item from the diner menu for me. Great atmosphere with out door seating located on the ground level of the shopping area. Would definitely return on our next visit.
