My girlfriends and I stayed here for a girls trip and had an amazing time. The hotel is at the end of the high rise district and close to the beach. Most restaraunts are about a ten minute walk down the beach. The staff here is extremely helpful! On the first day there, Stephanie helped plan everything from restaurants to local bars, snorkeling trips, helping us with a car rental. I would definately recommend renting a car for a day or two. It was super inexpensive and gave us a chance to explore the island. We checked in with Stephanie and we had our rental car in less than 10 minutes. I will definately be back to stay at this hotel!!

Dear Jessierebels,

Thank you so much for your very positive review on here. We are very happy to hear that your girlfriends and you enjoyed your vacation on Aruba and your stay with us. Stephanie is happy that she was able to help you plan your holiday and help you discover the best Aruba has to offer. Although it is not necessary to rent a car (we are walking distance from everything Palm Beach has to offer) it is always so much fun to explore the island’s North shore, Arikok national park, snorkel spots, restaurants. We hope to welcome you girls back with us very soon,

Sunny greetings from Aruba,

Excellent place to stay, very quiet and peaceful.... perfect for a romantic or family trip. The Casitas are beautiful, very clean, nice kitchen, you can buy your own food and cook which is great. The hotel is very near the high rise hotels, so it´s perfect because you can be near the action in a quiet and beautiful place, I loved it and want to come back. It has no restaurant, not even for breakfast.

Room Tip: Any room is great!

Dear marielamve,

Thank you very much for your brief and sweet review. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed our location’s proximity to Palm Beach and appreciated it’s far from it all feel. We have very good news; from this week we are offering our guests in-room (in-casita) breakfast! Champagne breakfast is also offered! We hope to have you back with us very soon.

I have always had preconceptions of traveling to the Caribbean. My thoughts are always that I will find peace, tranquility and relaxation. This is exactly what I found at the Boardwalk small hotel. There is lush vegetation, spacious and well appointed accommodations in any of the 14 lovely little individual units called Casitas along with a beautiful although small pool which is seldom if ever crowded.
This property is a 20 minute cab ride from the airport and thankfully a right turn at Palm Beach, away from the high-rise hotels. Here in Aruba the term high-rise hotels refers to the big box brands like Marriott, Hyatt, etc. It is tucked away and while only yards from the beach, it seems miles away from the big-box hotels.
This property is run by two very talented owner operators who are devoted to client satisfaction. Kimberly and Stephanie are two of the brightest and most dedicated hotel owners and operators that I have ever known.
This property is perfect for individuals, small families, and couples alike.
If you are looking for a small piece of the real Aruba, look no further.
If however you are looking to take part in an episode of The Jersey Shore, then head across the street to the Marriott.

On our first visit to Aruba we stayed at the Westin. It was fine. On this trip, after reading some reviews we chose to stay at the Boardwalk. It is fantastic!! Staff and owners are smart and knowledgable and even better, they are nice. They advised us on beaching, snorkeling, and kept us on track with great restaurants. We did our food shopping at Superfoods on the way from the airport. Good prices. Good selection. Several nights we cooked fresh fish on the weber grill at our casita. Our casita had a nice size refrigerator, stove cook top, and microwave. After dinner we walked 5 steps and sipped wine poolside. (That would be a ten minute wait for an elevator and 3 minute walk at the Westin). The pool is on the small side but it is very pretty and all that we needed. It is surrounded by lovely palm trees. The hotel has a arrangement with the Moomba beach club which is right on the hi-rise beach strip. You can walk from the Boardwalk and be on the beach in 10-15 minutes. We rented a car so it took us 2 minutes (tons of parking) to get to Moomba. Once you are there you can get beach chairs from them at no charge. The food at the restaurant is decent, not outstanding but we made up for that by waiting for happy hour. Sipping cocktails and dipping in the ocean. We only went to Moomba beach club one day but you could just go to that beach every day and be happy. With the help of Stephanie, Kimberly, and Thom we chose to adventure and snorkel at several amazing places using our car as a home base. They gave us folding beach chairs, beach towels and small coolers. We supplied the Balashi beer and peanut butter and jelly. If you stay here be sure to pick their brains for advice... they are awesome. We will make this an annual trip!!!

Boardwalk is "hors concours"! Casitas plenty of space, very clean, new, good decoration and with all facilities. A very nice pool and a reception desk ready to attend you (thanks Thom once more for the card and the wine bottle ; - ))
I recommend and will be back soon, probably for a longer period...

Room Tip: Ask for Casita 07 if you are with children. It is in front of the pool and you may see the kids through the glass panels while eating some Dutch Red Prima Donna Red and drinking a glass of Chilean wine with your wife.
