I am 48 hours into my post-vacation depression after 9 days at the Costa Linda. Although I have visited CL many times, this was the first year I had the chance to stay in a renovated room. For the first 7 days I as in 2025 overlooking the pool area. The kitchens, bedrooms and especially master bathrooms are incredibly comfortable and gorgeous. The master stand up shower is so nice after a long day at the beach. Unfortunately the new restaurant was not open as of last week but the bar and restaurant area are beautifully landscaped.
Happy hours seemed more active during the day. The beach was gorgeous as always, even if the waves were a bit bigger this year. Acquiring a chickee was not a problem for the full 9 days we were on site. The lobby bar was quiet but it's always a nice spot to visit after dinner offisite. Check In was simple. Wifi worked great for us and housekeeping was consistent & good all week. They are currently installing new tile floors throughout the resort so it is sometimes noisy but will be well worth it. The grounds looked amazing and we had a fabulous stay. Be sure to take Zumba or abs & buns to switch up your workout.

Room Tip: Ground floor walkout rooms on the beach are incredibly convenient.

We stayed at the Costa Linda resort from Feb 24th-March 2nd and it was very, very nice. The room was updated and the view from the balcony was amazing! I don't think there's bad room in the whole resort as far as a view goes. Having coffee there in the morning was the absolute best. We always managed to get a nice spot on the beach and we didn't even have to get there too early. There's plenty of huts available.
This was our first trip to Aruba and for the most part, we really liked it. I was, however, dissapointed with the restaurants. We ate at quite a few of the top rated restaurants in the Eagle Beach area and they all were ok; not great. We tried Carambola, Passions, Giannis (Palm Beach). Our favorite meal was at Tandoor Indian restaurant in Palm Beach; great food and priced a little cheaper than average. Most restaurant meals are about 30.00 and that's just for the dinner with a couple of small sides and no real exciting preparation. Pizza Bobs at our hotel was good and so was Iguana Joes.
I would go back to Aruba; great weather, friendly people and amazing beaches!!

We have just come back from our few days holiday in Aruba and we stayed at the Costa Linda. The resort has fantastic common areas and beach! Our little kids (4-years-old and 17-months-old) did really enjoy the beautiful swimming pools! The beach is at few steps away from the accomodation and is gorgeous! The apartment was ok, even though not astonishingly furnished. We had problems with the noisy engine of the air condition but that was promptly sorted out by the housekeeper. Another point of disappointment was the nasty behaviour of other guests, who spent their holidays waking up at dawn to take possession of beach beds and (beautiful) straw umbrellas, and even though they were leaving them unused for most of the time, they were ready to defend them tooth and nail as soon as someone dared to sit on them (since there were no free left at 8 a.m.!!)! But of this you cannot blame the hotel!

Costa Linda, for the most part, was nice. What we weren`t happy with was the maid asking to start making our beds 2 hours before we were to leave on friday. I said,"Don`t we have until 12.00 noon", and she said," Look at it from my point of view", I have 18 rooms to do!!!!!! .Then at one point when she was in our room she started asking me about menstruation and how she didn`t like the hot flashes and she didn`t want relations with her husband, all the while my husband was standing there.

It's amazing that regardless of how many nice beaches that I've been to, in my experience this is the best, at Eagle beach. Costa Linda has only one neighbour on this beach and this makes this resort particularly special, as it is un-crowded and serene by carribean standards. The rooms have been totally remodelled and is top notch. The fully equipped condo units make this a home away from home, in a beautifull setting. No this is not the Ritz-Carlton, but then again there are real genuine people at this resort. Daily room/maid service makes for comfortable stay. 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo makes it versatile for familie and couples.

Stayed here in June 2011. Didn't have one of the renovated rooms but it was still a wicked good room. Two bedrooms, two full baths, nice patio deck.

The beach is great this time of year, not busy. The pool restaurant and bar was being rebuilt, so that area was not great. Pool was nice.

Overall, pleased with this place. Except for the renovation areas, the resort is clean.

Room Tip: People talk about the renovated rooms being nice, but I didn't see one. However, our non-renova...

My husband and I recently spent two weeks at this resort and had a fantastic time. The accommodations are beautiful....roomy, tastefully appointed, and very practical.T,here was a large amount of construction around the pool but noise was pretty controlled and view was blocked off. Easy to see it will be well worth while when completed.

Lost a lot of beach this past year which really decreases its' depth. However, the beautiful water is still amazing and well worth the trip. I will never get tired of Carribean water. they rake the beach and keep it as clean as possible. Obtaining a hut is not too difficult. Need to be there at 7am to sign up if you want one close to water. Others can be obtained as late as 9am. Pool huts are taken between 7 and 9 am...again the closer to the water you wish, the earlier you need to be there. Can be gone for a 2 hour period without loosing possessions. However, never saw a security guard collect anyone's belongings at pool if gone for more than 2 hours. The pool itself was lovely and very clean but wish it was larger. Fun activities during day such as water aerobics, volleyball, and a wide platform in middle of pool that all the kids loved. Pool was VERY clean as was the whole resort.

The lobby bar was very enjoyable. Great drinks at happy hour ( not watered down as were the ones at the beach bar during happy hour). It was nice to stop here on way back to room for a "nightcap". Armando, the bartender, was also great and made delicious "mudslides".

Food at the turtle' s nest was excellent. We were amazed that more people did not eat there. Prices were also reasonable as Aruba's prices go. Staff was fantastic. Servers could not be more helpful but Edwin (? name..the manager) was incredible. He knows how to do customer service. Went out of his way to be of assistance. He should be running the front desk.

The only staff we encountered that was NOT polite and helpful were at the front desk. They absolutely acted as if they were doing you a favor by assisting you. It was really amazing.
Upon check out we filled out the satisfaction questionaire and handed it to a manager. She stated she would get back to us as we told her we had some concerns (we had asked to be contacted via e-mail in the questionaire). Two months are passing and we have not heard anything. Of course it was the "front desk" manager who accepted the survey!

Wifi reception is sadly lacking. You must purchase a card (which is most irritating) and then have to hunt for a place to get decent reception. If using in your unit, very variable. Most frustrating.

Overall we were very satisfied with most everything at costa linda. We hope to return next year and can hope the front desk staff will have an attitude improvement.

Room Tip: all service was excellent except for the Front Desk staff. We had a unit on first floor and on teh 5...
