My wife and I just got married at the Amsterdam Manor Beach Resort in Aruba. Before deciding on a location, we visited Aruba and looked at several hotels on the island. We talked to Anne Maduro who is in charge of the weddings at Amsterdam Manor and we immediately got a very good impression. To get a better idea about the food and the service, we had dinner at the hotel restaurant Passions on the beach. Both the food and the service were excellent. Our waiter did an amazing job and made sure our dinner was very special. He was the youngest of the waiters so we felt pretty good about having our wedding at the Amsterdam Manor. The following months we emailed extensively with Anne and our wedding planner Lissy Lampe to plan all the details. What really stood out to us were how well Anne and Lissy worked together and how they really worked within our budget and did not try to oversell us. The wedding itself was perfect and everything went according to plan, no doubt thanks to the good collaboration between Anne and Lissy. The location is absolutely stunning and the reception and dinner area are very charming. We had the Aruban buffet with local as well as American dishes. Many of our guests told us how much they liked the food and the friendly staff even boxed all the left –overs to take home for us. This is just another example of how Anne and her staff went out of their way to make sure we got great value. We had a wonderful time at the Amsterdam Manor and I haven’t heard a single complaint from any of our guests. We look back at a perfect wedding and we would recommend the Amsterdam Manor to anyone planning a wedding, even when on a budget.

Spent 4 nights at AMB enjoyed it all. Staff was a 10, stayed in room 301 great, loved the space. Bathroom had everything i needed, spacious, modern, jacuzzi as well. Bed very comfy, nice sheets. Loved the breakfast in am very European, enjoyed eating in the airy space. Lunch can't beat the fish tacos over at Passions. Evening meal would strongly suggest Catch of the day and an
appetizer called Mango, the food was consistently great at either of the restaurants.
Had dinner one night on the beach at Passions watching the sunset, tiki torches flickering, can't get better than that. Bar above the pool area not to be missed as well with occasional live music
and the lights along the roof line go on at dusk, try a swim in the pool at dusk..
Thoroughly enjoyed my stay would return again. The staff made it all easy.
Only thing I was looking for was the pad of paper and pen bedside so I could take it home.
Have stayed many places all over and this is a keeper.

Our first time on Aruba was more than wonderful. We had a great holyday at the Amsterdam Manor. This is really a very good place to stay and enjoy your holyday. The room was very nice and it was well cleaned everyday. The beach was super with a lot of chairs and palapas . Special was the diner at the beach. This is something everybody should do at least once in their holyday. The staff is very friendly and very helpful. We really had the most beautiful time of our life. Special thanks to Jurgen and Piet for creating such a beautiful place to enjoy our stay. Marc and Hanneke

We loved our stay at the AMB Resort. The place is beautiful and the beach is grand! Only drawback (which really did not affect us at the time) was that it is parallel to a landfill area. The wind must has been blowing in the right direction because the odor did not bother us at all.

Hello Marc!

On behalf of my husband and myself…thank you for such a wonderful stay at the Amsterdam Resort. The food was fantastic! The staff was very friendly, so very helpful. I especially enjoyed our time at the bar for happy hour 5-6pm and 9-10pm with your Bartender. What a great guy…..knew we were from Canada right away, eh! I wonder how he knew! And our studio apartment was so cozy and very comfortable too! And it was well cleaned and tidied everyday. We loved it, only wish we could have stayed longer!
So, Danki again Marc and pasa bon dia too! I think we will be back next year (god willing!)
Take good care and many blessings for prosperity in all you do!

Colleen & Ken

April 12-19 When we booked this vacation it felt good. The reviews were excellent ....but could it really be that good I wondered? Well the answer is no.....it was that great!!!! We had a fantastic time. The grounds are beautiful, the beach was amazing and the people fantastic. Our room was facing the pool and just below the pool bar. We had no issues with noise or disruption, everything was perfect. We cooked breakfast in our room and ate it pool side. We would go to the beach in the morning til early afternoon,....never a problem for chairs or palapas....the beach is very roomy.. We made blender drinks in the afternoon and sat around the pool waiting for 5:00 HAPPY HOUR. We didn't need a watch we just needed to listen for Peter the fantastic bartender to call it out. We were there for Thursday manager reception. The manager was there and mingled with everyone and was very interested in what you had to say about the hotel he also had a good chuckle when he found out my husband is dutch but has never been to Holland. The retired owners came out too and they come every Thursday when they are available, very personable. The locale of the hotel was perfect, a walk to some casinos, groceries, restaurants and bars. A quick cheap bus ride to the high rise hotels. I liked visiting the hotels, but always felt great coming home to the manor. Housekeeping did a great job and the room was always stocked with towels, and tissue. This was our 1st time in Aruba and it won't be our last.....and we will definitely be coming back to Amsterdam Manor. We have travelled quite a bit and found the ease of Aruba and the friendliness of it's people to be unsurpassed.

Room Tip: lower rooms are 1 bedroom and studios, the rooms on the second floor are 2 bedroom suites....all are...

I really enjoyed my stay here. This resort is very well maintenance and everyone there was very nice. This resort is also in the perfect location 5 or 10 min in either direction and you can be down town or up in the High and low rise area. The bus picks you up right in front of the resort. Eagle beach is absolutely beautiful. The bar is great and Mangos was great as well. My room was perfect, having a suit was perfect because I could go to the store pick snack and stuff for breakfast and lunch and save money to be able to go out and try lots of different places for dinner.

Room Tip: My room was at the end opposite of the pool which was nice and quiet, If there was an event near the...
