One of the prettiest beaches by far and well used by locals and tourists. Lots of good parking available. As with other beaches in Aruba, no bathrooms, change facilities or showers. Lots of free palapas but get there early. No place to eat (we were there in October so perhaps it is different in high season) so bring your own drinks and food.

I loved Arashi beach! It's not too large, but certainly not overly crowded (even though during the time we visited, half of the beach was actually closed). The sand and the wonderful turqoise shades of water are a joy to watch. Great swimming and snorkeling opportunities. The water is rather shallow. As a plus, you can see California Lighthouse from the water which adds to the beauty of the scenery. Also you can see a lot of pelicans hunting for their lunch and seagulls trying to steal it from them.

My favourite beach on the Island! We have been coming to Aruba for many years and this beach is still my favourite. It is a local quiet beach except for the weekends when families come to enjoy the weekend together. But even then it is nice. Unfortunately there are now some guys trying to sell you beds. Now saw a new building probably where they will be going to sell food and drinks. So this beach is getting commercialised unfortunately! I will enjoy it while it lasts.

Arashi beach is a great beach to go in Aruba. It is quiet without the tour boat people. The water is crystal clear with gentle waves. The sand is not as pure as the southern beaches however. It contains some broken shells within the sand making you aware of how you walk to the water. When you get to the water there are some flat small rocks you must cross before you get to the beautiful clear water. We brought our snorkel equipment and went out to the rock area which is about 4 to 5 feet deep. Once there you can float without fearing any weird currents taking you out to sea or waves crashing over you. There were schools of fish and some rock coral to see here. If you got nervous you just stood up to clear your goggles. Easy snorkeling with a beautiful beach nearby makes this beach my favorite to do both.

For us it was the best beach on the whole island. It's calm waters and rich underwater world is so nice and comfy. It's usually not really crowded, not too deep. So everyone can enjoy. It's really close to California Lighthouse.
