Owner description: A great dive, not just because of the Debbie II wreck but because of ample brain coral and schools of barracuda patrolling the area.

“Scuba”
Reviewed September 24, 2012

This is well worth it, mind you you could take your scuba gear and rent a car or take the bus to this reef, but it was part of the Antilla tour, bring bread to feed the fish

“Fantastic and free”
Reviewed September 12, 2012

Just park and walk in off the beach. You can snorkel for 1/4 miles in each direction and there are plenty of cool things to see such as Caribbean squid, octopus and porcupine fish.

“Great snorkelling”
Reviewed September 2, 2012

Stayed in Aruba for 2 months July-August last summer. This reef is within walking distance of the high rises. You can snorkel by wading in. Beautiful clear waters and lots of fish. IF you have or can rent the gear, no need to pay for a snorkeling trip from Palm beach..it's literally a 5 minute distance by boat...10 to 30 m inute walk depeding if you are on the marriott end( 5-10 minute walk) or westin end( 30 minute approx) I snorkeled there at least twice a week.

“Great for fish variety...”
Reviewed August 10, 2012

I have snorkeled and done a beach dive. The entrance for the diving can be cumbersome due to rocky entrance but it's great once you get out on the reef- cheaper too than having to go on a dive boat. the snorkeling is quite good for beginners with always some great parrot fish, box fish and barracuda sightings. The reef, however, has been damaged by snorkelers who stand on the coral when they get panicked or want to clear their mask. Remember everyone, it is a LIVING reef, only until we kill it by our ignorance.

Good snorkeling near the shore--interesting rocky edge, and lots of marine life, including eels, boxfish, and more!
