This was one of the best value restaurants we found on Aruba, and the food was excellent as well. Aruba is expensive but Cafe Rembrandt had big portions for slightly under the average and best of all the price printed on the menu was what you paid - no addition of service charge or sales tax when the bill came. Drinks were reasnobly priced as well.

I had one of the best Boeuf Bourgignon's I've ever eaten. The only negative to the restaurant is that it's a bit dark and dingy - otherwise excellent.

I honestly can't say I expected to go to a fundamentally Dutch restaurant and have the best mozzarella-on-ciabatta sandwich I've ever had. I avoided the heavier Dutch fare in the interest of eating light and was definitely rewarded. The atmosphere is the weak point - the interior looked a bit too dark and the exterior has a parking lot on one side and a number of renovating/vacant stores on the other - but the food is good for a light lunch or dinner.

We were looking for "real Dutch food" and a cabbie lead us to Cafe Rembrandt! It's a two minute walk from the Hyatt near the Hard Rock and we went for lunch on a day that we had planned on going into town. It was an authentic Dutch home-style meal and the owner/manager brought out a dish from the night before because it happened to be one of my husband's favorites (no charge...) She was very thoughtful and generous. You can sit outside or if it's warm, there is airconditioning inside. Very comfortable and the food was excellent!

We originally chose to go to Cafe Rembrandt because of its proximity to where we stayed while in Aruba. Imagine our surprise when, as a bonus, we found that the food, the service, the staff, and the prices were also good reasons to visit the restaurant. While in Aruba we visited the restaurant twice and each time we were impressed. Our only regret was that we weren't there when the entertainment was there (Monday...Wednesday...Friday). But that'll give us a good reason to go back.
