We went one night without reservations, no trouble getting seated and had menus. However, after 15 min of watching the staff rushing around to all the other tables, decided to leave as they were not going to have time to get to ur table.
Two days later, made a reservation. Again. got seated right away but no one came to our table. We observed the same hurried staff rushing around all the other tables, but got no service. There was a family of 5 seated by us, and the mother told the waiter twice that they were ready to order, waiter said be right back, and they delivered bread to them. After sitting there for about 20-25 mins, walked out again.
Sounds like they have good food, but service was unacceptable even for island time.

Amazing Food. Great Service. You have a choice of inside dining or outside garden dining. We chose the garden dining and the atmosphere was great. We started out with an appetizer called the "Aruban Keeshi Yena". Try it, You'll like it!" For the main course we had an amazing Beef Churrasco. Get there in time to be able to see an amazing sunset.

Go early to get a good table. Food was excellent! Staff was very happy to accomodate any request. Bathrooms are outside the restaurant though inside the hotel lobby.

Early-bird special is a good value. Selection and food are very good. Ambience is OK, while service is very good. Food is well prepared and the meat entrees are as one would expect for a staekhouse

We visited here our first night at Manchebo Beach Resort - our hotel. Normally we would venture out but were tired after the day's travel. We were expecting a reasonable meal but were pleasantly surprised with both the level of service and quality of the food. The wait staff were very attentive without being obtrusive and the food was very fresh, flavoursome and not too rich. Portion size was generous - we shared a starter and the dessert. The Pear Rocket Salad was the freshest salad I have ever had at a restaurant, We both had fish for main course, also very fresh, and with an interesting assortment vegetables - the baked potato is very good.. The restaurant itself is ideal for a romantic evening out, family or business gathering. During our meal on the Sunday evening there was a pianist playing the Grand piano. Not sure if there is live music every night or maybe just weekends. We only had 6 nights in Aruba and visited other restaurants too - but would have definitely returned to French Steakhouse if our stay had been longer.
