We travel to Aruba every year and it has become a tradition for my family and friends always to have dinner the first night we are there at this great "on the beach, in the sand" restaurant! They graciously hosted 23 of us this year and we were not disappointed. It is a bit pricey (but what great restaurant isn't, in Aruba!) but food quality is very, very good! It puts us all in the mood for the good times ahead of us on this Happy Island!!!

We had great service and food on the two occasions we visited Simply Fish. The atmosphere is really romantic and the setting is spectacular. The only drawback was that Simply Fish didn't use any local products for its daily seafood selections despite being steps from the Caribbean Sea. While fish like Salmon or Halibut might be more familiar to most American tourists, I would much prefer trying a different type of fish caught 5 miles away, not 5000 miles.

Right on the beach in from of the Marriott Hotel. We got there early for a 7:30 res. Had a nice drink as we watched the sunset..perfect. As we were led to our table they brought us over to the shoe rack - so we could leave our footwear and have our feet in the sand. Tables right in the sand 15 feet from the water line. They had a bout 5 different fish to choose from, then you choose your method of cooking and a sauce. This is not locally sourced fish. But was prepared perfectly and was it really good. Pricey but worth it. Dessert was a coconut cream cake...killer.....will go back for sure

We had reservations at 7pm and were promptly seated at arrival. The setting and view were exquisite. The service was attentive and friendly. Our meal began with an amuse bouche of scallops then bread with butter and an olive tapenade. We all ordered the caesar salad appetizers to start and they were good- not spectacular but fresh and good. In between courses we were served a lemon sorbet to cleanse our palates. For our main entees, we ordered the halibut pan fried, the wahoo grilled, and the tenderloin. The halibut pan fried was a bit too salty but the wahoo and filet mignon were perfect. The coconut rice and plantains were also good. Be advised that they also offer a children's selection if you ask. Overall the meal was a delightful experience and I would recommend it.
