Very nice dinner with family and friends.
Menu is so so, nothing to fancy schmancy but it was all good.
Liked the atmosphere and outdoor dining.

“Romantic and gorgeous at sunset”
Reviewed August 4, 2014

We celebrated our last two wedding anniversaries here. It's quiet, the ocean is so calm, and the ambiance is just what you'd expect for dinner on the beach. The wait staff is great and will gladly take your picture. The menu has a good variety to choose from. Can't wait to go back next time.

“Great location, ambience, food and service”
Reviewed August 3, 2014

We picked Passions for my birthday dinner and are very pleased we did so. The location on the beach is great . While there are other restaurants in Aruba that are on the beach what Passions have done is getting the lighting right. They are also innovative in having backlit menus which make them easy to read when the sun goes down and also iPad ordering which let's them show you pictures of the food which are a good reflection on what is served.
My wife and I both had the Arubian Seafood soup which was excellent. I had the grouper with prawns which had an excellent spicy sauce and my wife had the Mahi Mahi. Both dishes were really well cooked and presented and very yeasty. For desert we shared the trio of deserts which which were good.
We have been lucky enough to eat in a lot of restaurants around the world and we no agreed that this is as good as we have been in for both the quality of the food and the friendly service. It is also really good value for money.
If you like seafood then put this on your list of restaurants to visit in Aruba.

“average meal with a good view”
Reviewed August 3, 2014

My husband and I had been told to come here by several people on our honeymoon. The view was beautiful, but there are kids running by in bathing suits and people swimming and laying on the beach right next to the tables. The wait staff was very nice and they all offer to take pictures for you while the sun is setting. The drinks were good, the appetizers were pretty good too. They brought our dessert out with a sparkler and had a "happy honeymoon" message written on it, which was also nice. However, the dessert was no different than me buying a brownie from the store and putting it in a glass with some ice cream. We both ordered the filet mignon signature dish for our main course and it was average. Neither of us thought the meat was that great and the potatoes on the side where comparable to diner home fries. So all in all, the view was great, but the food not so much and it definitely wasn't worth the price.

“Awesome! Oh that view!”
Reviewed August 3, 2014

Go at sunset and you won't regret it. Fantastic scrumptious food, excellent service, and one of the best locations for a meal you could ever ask for. Wear your flip flops because you're sitting in the sand. White tablecloths. Absolutely stunning setting. Our hotel concierge recommended Passions to us without hesitation and now I'm recommending it to others. This was one of my best dinners EVER. Are there places like this in the states? If so I wish I knew where. Such a treat.
