“A nice break from the typical vacation mode of eating”
Reviewed December 9, 2013

If you spend hours in the cruise ship dining room , this is not the place for you. If you seek out the all-you-can-eat Chinese buffets, this is not the place for you. If you'd rather have a selection of several different dishes while enjoying a sangria and a great atmosphere, this is the place for you.

Tapas are snacks. Don't think "appetizer" in the traditional American "big is more", overflowing plate of nachos sense; a single tapas is not enough for a family of four to share, or for a single person to eat as a small meal. But each one adds to the experience and you can go ahead and order 7 or 8 for your table without breaking the bank (about $4.50 USD each) or your gut. Some are hot, some are cold, some are spicy. I visited this place twice during my weeklong stay and was very pleased both times. The food quality and service are both very good, the staff friendly. Sidewalk dining in Aruba doesn't get much better.

“cheap, good sandwiches, worth repeat visit”
Reviewed December 8, 2013

One of the few inexpensive sit-down places we found in Palm Beach, and also the only dining place that we visited more than once.

Granted, the tapas were less than spectacular (very good sauces, but low-end meats), but the sandwiches/burgers were very decent (and not expensive). Mixed drinks were good and inexpensive (8-10 USD).

Extensive outdoor seating with eclectic decor, as well as some indoor seating.

Kitchen is open later than some other places (we went past 9 or 10pm on each visit). There was live music playing to that row of restaurants on a weeknight. There was a breakfast menu I would have liked to return to sample.

Definitely a decent place to include in your Aruba itinerary.

“Casual Dining”
Reviewed December 7, 2013

For the price, I thought this place was good and there were a lot of menu selections. We picked two appetizers and that's all we need for a light dinner. I did think the size of the beer battered shrimp were on the small side (for being a medium sized shrimp), but other selections were tasty (French Onion Soup, Mahi-mahi, nacho) and plentiful. We went in the evening, sat outside and enjoyed the one man band playing on the plaza. Nice ambience!

“Expected more,”
Reviewed December 1, 2013 via mobile

I just expected more from this place. I think we went here a few years back n it was better. To start off I had the Cuban mojito, it tasted like mint which is good but I think they forgot to put rum in it. We ordered a bunch of tapas n a grouper sandwich. The grouper was very plain, the tapas were small but very tasty. We had the escargot which was very good n the only good size tapas. The tapas seemed inexpensive but after u add them all up the meal ended up being quite pricey. Probably will not return.

“More of a landmark than anything else”
Reviewed November 30, 2013

I went here for breakfast which wasn't that good. I ordered the American Breakfast of eggs, bacon, deep fried hash browns, one pancake, a cup of coffee and a cup of very pulpy OJ. Food was average, but there are 1000s of salt and pepper shakers on the walls, so it was fun looking at them. That was clearly the best part. Take your time to look around, I don't think they mind if it isn't busy. There are some cool and funny ones in there. Go for that, not the food!
