Well how many ways can you describe perfection? I'll give it a go. The setting for the barns was absolutely beautiful. Rolling hills, sheep dotted about, stunning views, lovely walks literally round the corner.
Nikki greeted us and showed us round, you couldn't ask for a nicer, friendlier or more informative host.
The barn was everything we expected and more. Spacious and had everything that you could need/want. Sitting room was big, kitchen fully equipped. Bedrooms are also perfect.
Totally dog friendly doesn't do the barns justice. I've never known Archie to be so chilled and relaxed when he wasn't at home. That speaks volumes about the atmosphere that's created by Nikki and Jason.
There is so much to do in the area, walks in the forests, nearby and further afield. Beach walks only a matter of a short drive away. Local places of interest, lovely pubs, dog friendly etc, castles, bay harbours, just so much to see and do.
We didn't choose to have the homemade food that Nikki offers, but I think we will when we visit again.
All in all: perfect! If you're thinking of going somewhere to relax and adventure in equal measure then look no further!
Can't wait to visit again.
Helen, Eileen and Archie.

We've just returned from a relaxing 4 night break. Beautiful accommodation & surroundings with fabulous views. A super dog friendly place & lovely dog friendly local pubs & beaches to visit. Nikki & Jay are fabulous, making us & our Newfoundland, Moose, feel very welcome. They are on hand to give advice on the best places to visit, should you need it. We loved it so much we've already booked again for next year! A must for anyone looking for a peaceful dog friendly holiday.

Just got back from a midweek break and wow what a break it was!! Weather was nearly as amazing as our accommodation and surrounding views, which were spectacular. I would recommend this break to family and friends, like us they will not be disappointed. Nikki and Jason have created something really special and we wish them every success with it. Honey will miss Cookie & Woody but I think she had a soft spot for Oscar .

If you have dog's to take with you on holiday this is a great holiday property in a fabulous location. Nikki and Jason are so friendly and helpful and you will be made to feel welcome from start to finish. We took 4 giant breed dog's with us and they were no trouble at all and were also made to feel very welcome. The holiday property it's self is ideal, clean and tidy with all the amenities you will need inc Wi-Fi. Nikki does evening meal's on site if you didn't fancy going out or cooking, we had one on the first night of arrival and it was fabulous and plenty too. Pub's in the area are great for allowing dog's, two of them we went to allowed all the dog's in beside us while we had our meal and with 4 giant bread dog's there wasn't much room for anyone else but the landlords were more than happy to have them in. Upon arrival Nikki will go through all the great locations on where to eat out and day's trips out which is very handy. As soon as you step outside the views from the barn are great. The walking area's around the holiday location are perfect you can just let the dog's off and let them run round the forests to there hearts content. There's plenty of water sources around for the dog's as ours love swimming in the river, paddling in streams or visiting the seaside, you are never to far away from any of them. All I can say for a holiday property that accepts dog's and any number this is a great stay that you will thoroughly enjoy.

We have just returned from a week in the Old Bike Shed, and what a week we had in the most beautiful area of Wales. Nikki and Jason were such welcoming hosts, the accommodation itself was cute and perfect for two (plus one hound!) and I can not recommend Nikki's food highly enough, plus the local dog friendly pubs are excellent. The dog walking, both forest and beaches were so beautiful. So........ perfect hosts, perfect location for doggy days out, perfect food and all rounded off by some great fun mountain biking. I've already booked our next trip back in August!!

This was our third visit to Bay Tree Barn, the cottage has all you need for a comfortable stay, is very dog friendly. The owners Nikki and Jay have made this a very pleasant place to stay, you feel nothing would be too much trouble for them. Nikki cooks excellent meals and they are most welcome when you arrive, her lasagne is one of the best I have had.
The area is very close to loads of fantastic walks for dogs, bike trails if your into mountain biking and is not that far for some fantastic beaches. All in all it has it all.

We have just returned from a 4 night break in The Hay Barn - and the barn really is as perfect as all of the previous reviews state! The barn is spotlessly clean, and has been furnished beautifully. One of the best things about this barn is it is fabulously warm as it is fitted with its own heating system which you control - unlike many holiday cottages where you end up cold as the heating is contolled for you.
The barns are fabulously situated between the Cardigan Coastline and also the Carmarthenshire Coastline and even though we had some dreadful weather we still got out and about and visited the local area.
Nikki and Jason are wonderful hosts and nothing is too much trouble for them. They are on hand if you need their help otherwise you are left in peace to enjoy your break. If you are considering ordering food from Nikki, her lasagne is one of the best I have ever eaten (and a huge portion).
While we were staying the new wifi was fitted....and I can confirm that it works perfectly!
Unfortunately we had cut our break short so did not get the opportunity to explore Brechfa Forest...but we will hopefully return in the near future.
