“Good Food...service not so much.”
Reviewed April 15, 2014

The ambiance of the outdoor seating area was like an oasis, totally not what you expected by the look of the street entrance. The staff seemed friendly but was defiantly lacking. Two different waitresses forgot to bring drinks to our table three times during the dinner. They could not remember what and who ordered it. Our drinks took ten minutes and appetizers took twenty minutes to get to the table, very slow.

I ordered a blue cheese salad which was very good and my wife loved the french onion soup. We had a party of seven the dinners were very staggered, nothing came out at the same time.

The rib eye was cooked perfect and the T-Rex was very good but if you don't like potent barbeque-sauce then it's not for you. The sides were good as well. A family member ordered pork that was too rare in the center we told the waitress but they did nothing about it.

The molten lava cake was delicious but nothing special. We also had the Banana Tartan which was also good. The deserts also came out at all different times. If you can deal with forgetfully service the the food is worth a try.

“One of my favorites”
Reviewed April 13, 2014

This was the first time eating at Yemanja and we will certainly go back again. Had the tuna tartar and roasted veggie salad, french onion soup, a dessert combo. Our waitress was wonderful and was seated in the back area, where it was much cooler.

“Best meal we had in Aruba”
Reviewed April 12, 2014

We ate in several excellent restaurants in Aruba and then in Yemanja on our last night. I have to say it was the best meal of them all, in terms of quality of food, level of service and ambience. My husband had a meat dish I cannot remember the name of, and I had the grouper filled with boursin. Excellent all around.

“This is what I'm talking about”
Reviewed April 5, 2014 via mobile

What an awesome meal! Probably our best dinner this week. Excellent table service. Great portions. Reasonably priced. I wish we discovered this place earlier in our trip. 12oz steak with more sides than u could possibly eat. $39. The fillo with goat cheese was sweet and very delicious. Most entrées in the high $20 to mid $30 range. $15 cork fee if you byob.

It's a small restaurant with only about 15 tables. Right behind the renaissance downtown. Very cosy and tastefully decorated.

If you're looking for a quiet dinner for 2-4, I highly recommend. Enjoy!!

“A Taste of Aruba”
Reviewed April 1, 2014

This place was recommended by a friend of ours and I am so glad she did. It's casual, friendly and the food is outstanding. From the bread given to you right away to the fab dessert at the end it was incredible. So fresh and presented beautifully. Waiter was friendly, service was quick but not rushed. We sat in the outdoor area and loved it. Great decor, good relaxing music in the background. Again, incredible food. Will definitely make return visits whenever we are in Aruba...
