“Nice 9 hole course”

Links at Divi Aruba
Reviewed April 9, 2014

We enjoyed the layout, it had a few longer holes so you didn't feel
that you were through the course too quickly. As guests of the Tamarijn we paid $80 plus golf club rental so it came to $116pp
It was nice to golf after our long and cold winter

It's not as pricey as the 18 hole Tierra Del Sol on the north end of the island, but it is an enjoyable course if you're itching to get out and hit the ball around. Your best value is to sign up for the Wednesday (best ball) and Friday (scramble) tournaments, where $75 gets you 9 holes, rental clubs and shoes, a sleeve of balls, and two free drinks. You can sign up as a twosome or as a single to be paired up with someone. I plan for these two days of golf every time I visit Aruba.

We played this course and it was so difficult with the wind that blows constantly and at times blows in gusts out of nowhere. You have to adjust your game a lot to play here. It's a 9 hole course so if you want to play 18, you have to go around twice. Not my favorite thing to do. It can be a difficult course to play besides the wind, there are a few water holes and lots of sand traps. We lost many balls on this course because if they don't go in the water, the wind blows them into the thick bushes that are impossible to find a ball in. Also, we had to play around the workers all the time. There always seemed to be someone working on the course. Nice to see they keep it up but not during the day when you are playing. They don't seem to regulate people teeing off which as you start the course can be a problem. We were a twosome and got stuck a lot behind people and had to wait at holes to tee off.

The better ball tournament on Wednesday was great, and a fantastic value. $75 for 9 holes, club and shoe rental, cart, sleeve of balls and 2 drink tickets for Mulligan's after.

Great 9 hole course perfect for a morning round the wind does blow and sometimes it is a 4 club difference. The rentals clubs are great no need to bring your own.
