Wouldn't recommend going here.

Nothing fancy or nice.

Small and felt like a slummy casino.

Only a few tables and they were closed when we were there

The only reason this is reviewed high was because we had a 5 dollar bet for our 2 week stay and we came out 10 dollars richer. It was hot and noisy in the casino but if that is your thing then go for it.

The Alhambra Casino is a typical island casino. Renovations have just been completed and the establishment look great. Lots of slots and table games await you. There are many table games with low minimum bets. They offer free drinks. The staff is eager to please you. It is a nice place to spend an hour or two. The smoke will get to you after that period of time.
This facility is located near the Divi/Tamarijn complex with free shuttle service if you don't feel like taking the short walk. The Casa Del Mar, Manchebo Beach, Bucuti Beach, and Costa Linda resorts are located within walking distance as well.
A small shopping area is included in the complex as well.
A nice casino for anyone staying in the Low-Rise Hotel Area.

They have cleaned up the Casino and renovated the shop area. It is very nice and clean. They even have $5 blackjack tables. I was surprised that it was so crowded in September, mid week around 9pm.

We tried to visit Alhambra 2 times during our evenings as we had nothing to do... the establishment is extremely smoky and you can see the smoke lingering in the air. I think they are making an attempt to renovate the place; I found the inside to have a very sterile feel with paint on the walls, and florescent lights in the establishment. We noted it seemed to be one of the larger casinos, with many patrons, and there were some low betting tables. We won $5 and left - heard that the payout is worse than the high rise areas. All in all, it's worth a visit to the oldest casino on the island, but it's not for me.
