Just got back from our 10th consecutive stay at Divi Village. Very beautiful and so relaxing. Staff is top notch. Beaches are beautiful - white and clean. Water is turquoise and clear. Can't want to go back next year!!

This resort is on the low rise area, with less people on the beach, great for family with kids. We stayed at a two-bedroom apartment, inside furniture is a little bit out-dated, but sheets are very clean, have a full kitchenette, with utensils etc. Studio is a bit small with a tiny kitchen. Pool is just 1-minute walk, beach is 2-minutes walk. We booked through expedia so a good deal for the cost.

Room Tip: Room with full kitchen is better and larger.

We stayed at the Divi Village & Golf from June 23-June 30th. We were in rooms 6103 & 6104, which is Building #1. We had previously stayed at this resort in 2010 at a timeshare in Building 2. There are so many positives about this Divi. The rooms have been redone and are very nice. The kitchen was new with a refrigerator that contained your own water pitcher to fill & drink the sparkling Aruba water. The bathrooms were modern and spacious. We did not have any issues with air conditioning or mold. There were no bugs. The only minus to one of the rooms was the sliding door's handle did not work. There was a block of wood with a handle on it that was in the door frame. We had housekeeping everyday and the rooms were always clean. We never felt that we had to worry about our possessions. We used the in-room safe without a problem.
We had breakfast everyday at the Sea Breeze Cafe, and we can't say enough about the wait staff. Aisha, Raphael and Shirley were the absolute best. We were sad to say goodbye to them at the end of our trip! In the lobby area, Rachelle was the most professional and positive person. She answered all of our questions with patience, there was no hurry to move us along no matter how many people were on line behind us.
And of course the beach ! It is a short walk across the street, and it is breathtaking and peaceful. No crowds and no competition for space like the high rise section of Aruba. The Infinity pool is always a hit with the kids. This is a family friendly, relaxed resort.

So why only a 4? The internet. Or the lack thereof. When we were there in 2010, there was a little sales office with a porch that was a wi fi spot that was free for guests to use. Since then the office has been replaced with the new (and gorgeous) lobby. But the internet usage fees are obnoxious. It is $15.00 per day per device ($30 for 3 days). You make your own user name and password, pay only by credit card, and the kicker - it is only good for the device you paid from. We ended up scouting out free internet places, such as the Renaissance Mall.

The Divi Village and Golf is a very special place to stay on a very special island. We hope they get their internet act together soon, so that they can get the 5 they deserve!

Clean, all the workers were great, went out of their way to help, transportation system was amazing, never had to wait more than a few minutes for your ride to come along and take you where ever you needed to go on the property. Food was amazing.

My husband and 3 sons stayed at the Divi Golf, Aruba for 2 weeks during Oct11. we had a 1 bedroom apartments, which had 2 bathrooms (1 with spa bath) a kitchen area, utility area, king size bed and a king size sofa bed, 2 balconies and we also had a zacuzzi on the roof top. So the room for us was fantastic.

We didn't really use the hotel restaurant / bar much, because we didn't find the staff there very friendly, and nested opted to eat oer at the Tamarind and Divi Aruba restaurants instead, which were great. Staff very attentive and friendly.

Th Links restaurant was absolutely superb, and couldn't do enough for us.

The Divi Golf pool was gorgeous, and the bad staff there in the swim up bar, were so so lovely to us. My ony issue here is I wish they had more entertainment here for the kids, etc. for this we had to go over to The Tamarind pool area, where we had lots of fun playing BINGO ... Shake your Bingo balls !!!

The beach was by far the best beach I've ever seen, and was never packed! lounging in hammocks sipping cocktails, was just pure paradise!

The spa also was fabulous, and the staff there were very friendly and professional.

We flew Premier, the plane was a little tatty, but the service was good, drinks and food a plenty, and my children loved the games and film consoles.

I would most defiantly return again.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with access to a roof to jacuzzi

We own two weeks total with Divi in Aruba and this was our 1st stay at Divi Village. Our rooms were recently redone and very nice. We used two rooms , a one bedroom and a studio for the five of us . This was our 1st time bringing our children and sharing the island with them. We told them how great it was and they said take us , so we did . Now they want to go again because they had agreat time. The staff is great and you might find your fellow guest are pretty cool as well. When you go there, remember relax and enjoy yourselves. It's " ISLAND TIME " , that means slow down and relax . You are in Aruba and at one of the best place's on the island. One great thing is Divi is not super commercial trying to sell you everything with venders everywhere. This location is great. Also the resturants are also very good and not over priced. We will return.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is in the "low rise" area, which is less developed and has less-crowded beaches. If you are going to aruba for partying, this may not be the place for you. We took a bus to the high rise area for dinner, dancing, and drinking and then came back to our area for a quiet walk along the beach. You can take advantage of all of the beaches, canopies, pools, entertainment, etc from the all-inclusive parts of the hotel. Having a kitchenette was great in keeping the food costs down. Overall a great deal for the cost.
