We stayed one night upon arrival of our three night mini vacation. Just great to be met at the airport and delivered to our beach hotel the next day. This is a small inn (8 rooms) and former residence that has been converted. The nicely landscaped gardens around the pool are a favorite spot for the butterflies and hummingbirds. Gaston is ramping up to offering all the conveniences (no microwaves yet but they are on their way) and getting the grill up and running. In exchange, Gaston kindly allowed us to use his kitchen to cook up our evening meal which we ate on our patio. Free wifi is very helpful; friendly international clientele makes for some interesting conversations. For a longer stay, you will need a car. Otherwise, great job by the hardworking Gaston.

We stayed here for a total of four nights over two separate stays and it's a great place with nicely decorated rooms, beautifully landscaped garden/pool area, and delicious breakfasts! Gaston picked us up from the airport both times, and also dropped us off. He really went out of his way to make sure we felt at home. As Dutch citizens living in the U.S. we really enjoyed the Dutch breakfasts he prepared for us. The hotel is walking distance from downtown Oranjestad. It is not near a beach, but the island's fabled beaches can easily be reached by bus. Or ask Gaston and he'll help you rent a car or he may just offer to drop you off. Pricing was very reasonable. Compared to other hotels and considering we stayed there during the height of peak season (the week between Christmas and New Year's), it was a steal!

Wonders is wonderful. We only stayed one night because I couldn't get into Sunset Beach Resort until the 26th December. The place was great! Nice, clean and very well kept! It was a short walk to the harbor and downtown area. Gaston met us at the airport and took us to our second hotel! He was fabulous. The pool area was beautiful and peaceful. We had breakfast at Wonders, it was great and very satisfying. We would recommend this place to anyone! The one downside is that it is not on the beach, but the island is small and it is easy to get anywhere.

Room Tip: I would choose room #9, just off the pool or one of the poolside rooms if I was staying here for a few days.

Wonders Boutique was absolutely beautiful! The hotel grounds were well kept, the pool was clean, the atmosphere was relaxing and the rates were pretty cheap as well. Gaston (the owner) was amazing! He provided shuttle service from the airport. He also dropped us off in the "downtown" area, picked us up from downtown and took us to our next resort (which wasn't included in the reservation agreement). He went above and beyond to make sure our stay was wonderful. That was definitely a great start to our vacation. Wi-Fi was also available at no additional costs.

Room Tip: Any room is a good room. No matter the choice.

The Wonders Boutique Hotel is so different from all the big hotels on Aruba. It's peaceful and chic and has a nice twist as it is quite stylish, too. The (big) rooms are equipped with everything you need. The breakfast is very good. So is the service. It is a home away from home. But with a swimming pool :)
