This is by far one of the best places I have been to in Aruba. The atmosphere is great. We have spent many days lounging by the pool, drinking cocktails at the swim up bar, watching the amazing sunsets, having siestas on the comfy beds and dancing on the sand to the cool tunes they always play. The waiter service is fantastic, they even made us our Favourite cocktail even though it wasn't on the menu. Food was really tasty and presented well, we recommend the carpaccio and tuna tataki. Perfect place day or night! Will be sure to return soon!

I read some of the other reviews (the bad ones) and I can't relate to them. I came here very often to spend a good time at the beach, have a drink and relax, the service was good, the place well located, you can choose between siting outside in the sand or in wooden floor. We had a fairly good service, a friend of mine came here alone and they wanted to give her water/coffee for free, very nice people. I do recommend it if you come by the surfside area.

We had a light lunch here one day and returned for a quick drink on the day we had to go back to the airport. It has a beautiful setting, everything seemed very up to date and very clean. We sat at the bar, which is really outside, just covered. We had a fruit platter (with excellent passion fruit and mango) and a grouper sandwich that was good. The owner stopped and talked to us both times and the owner's son was bar tending and we talked to him for a long time about the different cultures of Aruba, the US, and his birthplace, Columbia. We especially like that it is away from the tourist places and was not too crowded.

Planned a beach day on December 12 off the cruise ship. Reviewed their website and emailed on cost.
We arrived early approx 9am, there were no other guests. The condition of the beach furniture was a turnoff with many cushions ripped/torn. Side of the building was neglected with bags of garbage.
The original email in late November indicated no charges except for food and drinks. Now charges for chairs and umbrella. Drinks were not inexpensive.
This location was out of the way from the tourist areas.
We did not stay.

We went to Nikky Beach to watch the sunset and have a bite to eat. Jorge (The Owner) Was very nice and recognized us from when we had dinner at The Pirates Nest 4 years ago (!). The food was amazing, especially the sea food soup. I never knew you could add this much fresh fish in a soup. We also shared an order of onion rings and you could taste that they where made in house and FRESH. Yummy yummy delicious.
