We made a 630 dinner reservation at Barefoot so we could watch the sunset. Our table was right on the beach. We opted for the three course prix-fixe dinner. House made chicken spring rolls as an app, main course was shrimp and grilled mahi in a white truffle creme sauce, and dessert was a duet of chocolate and vanilla mousse. Spring rolls were awesome, shrimp and fish quite good (had never eaten fish and truffles before), and dessert was tasty, a little uninspired, and rather heavy. Had a nice bottle of inexpensive Argentine or Chilean Chardonnay (under $30). There were several other modestly priced wines on the list that looked promising as well. Our server was attentive yet unobtrusive. Wine glasses were discreetly filled and dishes subtly cleared. My only criticism is that there was too much food, but it was our fault for ordering the prix-fixe instead of just the entree. Sunset was lovely and it was fun to watch the occasional jet appear out of the night sky and glide past us to land at Reina Beatrix.
