Description: Aruba is all about the fabulous beaches during the day, and the many great restaurants at night. It is only logical that these two unique things of Aruba are combined into one! Luc & Gerco found the perfect spot to synergize great food, and a beautiful setting to create an experience almost unique on our island. When listening to the ocean caressing the shore, while wiggling your toes through the pearly white sand, why not let yourself be pampered by a gourmet dinner? Chef Gerco & Maitre d' Luc had a shared dream of opening up a restaurant here, but wanted something in line with what they enjoy on Aruba: the nearly perfect climate, the possibility to always be outside, the tropical feel... When opening their restaurant, they had these ideas in their heads, and it worked like a charm! Tables under a large palapa on a wooden deck with a view of the ocean, or outside under the Aruban nights sky, on the pristine beach... An original menu was created by Gerco and team, with some of the old school favorites as well as locally influenced dishes. With the help of the local wine suppliers, Luc made an extensive wine list, with wines from all over the world, and is always ready to pair a wine with your dinner. The experienced service team is friendly yet professional, ready to wow you from the moment you walk in, to make a fabulous evening into a great memory on Aruba!

Best meal of the week long vacation, and we ate very well!! Service was excellent, food was mouth watering, and ambience was awesome! Highly recommend this spot for everyone from couples looking for romance, friends out for a good meal, and even those with the kiddos in toe...they catered to all!
Both my friend and I had the seafood trio (but both having 3 different fishes) and they both were fresh and some of the best seafood I've ever had.

This is a typical beach, Aruba restaurant in that it has the beach vibe, laid back, very comfortable, but.......the food is outstanding unlike the other beachy places. The menu is quite varied, but everything looked good, and our Italian style grouper fish, and ahi tuna were superb. The lobster bisque appetizer was maybe the best I have ever had, and this includes NY, LA restaurants. Wine list is reasonable, with quite a few selections at various price points. The manager, Nick, stopped by several times to see how dinner was and to advise on wine. He is a delightful young man who made us feel right at home. We sat inside, as it was windy outside, but you can sit on the beach for dinner, which is romantic. Inside, we still were able to take off our shoes, as each inside table has a sand pit to dig your feet into while dining. The inside is really nice, tables spaced nicely for privacy. Menu pricing was reasonable, less than some we went to, but pretty much in line with the better restaurants in town. We had been given a number of places to dine at, this being one, and I would recommend that everyone that comes to Aruba try this--you will love it, and I would guarantee that!

Went to Barefoot the day after Flying Fishbone and its hard to decide which was better. I think Barefoot by a slim margin. Slightly better but both are must dines.
Food delicious for everyone at the table. Waitstaff was thorough and attentive. delightful sunset view with our meal.

Went for a birthday for different experience. Enjoyed ability to have feet in sand yet still be under a restaurant roof. Daughter fish sticks were excellent. Fresh fish very lightly friend we ordered a second order! My mango fish dish was excellent but my husbands short ribs had a very floury gritty taste. They did a nice birthday celebration. We'd go back as its a good 15 to 20 min closer than flying fish bone.

Went there in Jan/14, did a reservation and asked for a table at the beach. Arrived early anyway to be sure that i would stay at the beach and watch the sunset. The place is beatiful and the service is excellent. I also enjoyed the food, it is one of the best options on the island.
