Description: Aruba is all about the fabulous beaches during the day, and the many great restaurants at night. It is only logical that these two unique things of Aruba are combined into one! Luc & Gerco found the perfect spot to synergize great food, and a beautiful setting to create an experience almost unique on our island. When listening to the ocean caressing the shore, while wiggling your toes through the pearly white sand, why not let yourself be pampered by a gourmet dinner? Chef Gerco & Maitre d' Luc had a shared dream of opening up a restaurant here, but wanted something in line with what they enjoy on Aruba: the nearly perfect climate, the possibility to always be outside, the tropical feel... When opening their restaurant, they had these ideas in their heads, and it worked like a charm! Tables under a large palapa on a wooden deck with a view of the ocean, or outside under the Aruban nights sky, on the pristine beach... An original menu was created by Gerco and team, with some of the old school favorites as well as locally influenced dishes. With the help of the local wine suppliers, Luc made an extensive wine list, with wines from all over the world, and is always ready to pair a wine with your dinner. The experienced service team is friendly yet professional, ready to wow you from the moment you walk in, to make a fabulous evening into a great memory on Aruba!

Not much to not like here. So nice to sit all dressed up with your feet in the cool sand and eat such delicious food. The goat cheese medallions were to die for! With goats all over Aruba, this was the freshest creamiest goat cheese we'd ever had. Dijon soup- who'd of thunk it? Yet it works- so yummy! The shellfish trio with lobster, shrimp and scallops in a lobster cream sauce was perfect with a glass of the Byron chardonnay- I actually felt giddy with joy. My husband, who does not eat much fish, loved his blackened mahi with pinapple salsa. The chocolate mousse duo ended the night with a bang. I did not want this meal to end. Prices are not cheap but VERY reasonable for the quality of food and the overall experience. Service was excellent all throughout- when making the reservation, the hostess, the servers, everyone was ON POINT. This place is a must!

When eating at barefoot make sure to catch the sunset. Sitting on the the beach and eating is a wonderful experience. The specialty drinks they serve are wonderful. We were a group of 6 and everyone loved the food. Barefoot is located by the airport in town. From meat to fish the food was great. Bring beach shoes or go barefoot. We have been traveling to Aruba for over 20 years and Barefoot is #1 on my list

Thanks to Trip Advisor reviews, we read about this wonderful restaurant and made reservations to give it a try during our annual family vacation in Aruba. We were not disappointed and already plan to return next year. The sunset views were amazing with our table and toes in the warm sand of the beachfront dining spot. Our server, Rianne, was delightful, efficient and so helpful with her suggestions for meals. The drinks, dinner and desserts were outstanding and offered the best of land and sea. My husband enjoyed a sampler of three local fish cooked to perfection as was my peppered and very rare tuna...just as I requested! Even our ten year old raved about her buttered garlic pasta! Desserts and coffee rounded out the perfect last meal of our trip. Very good wine list for the island!

It doesn't get any better than eating on a lovely beach watching the sun go down with your toes in the sand. This place has got it all. Wonderful service, great views and fantastic food. It was one of the highlights of our trip to Aruba. Highly recommend it!
