The best part was the outdoors dining but what restaurant in Aruba doesn't have that! Food was not bad but nothing special, though definitely not worth $25+ each. Instant mashed potatoes should say it all! There was a guy playing nice guitar music but we couldn't hear it when the resort started karaoke after we were seated.

“Hidden Gem at LaCabana”
Reviewed August 21, 2010

Last fall we were staying at LaCabana and we could smell this amazing food being cooked below our room. We were headed to the high rises but decided to check out Las Ramblas. The menu was decently priced and the food had smelled great so we decided to see if they had any open tables. We were quickly seated. This is an open air restraunt at the front of the resort. There was live music and the wait staff was very attentive and friendly.

Both my wife and myself ordered the surf and turf and were pleasany supprised at the large portions. The surf and turf consisted of a fillet, bacon wrapped scallops and shrimp. The menu is not large but its a nice change to find a great meal at our home resort.

“Great Food, Great Atmosphere!”
Reviewed August 15, 2010

We arrived to Aruba and settled in to La Cabana, we opted to stay at the resort and check out the local restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised at a great meal watching the sunset over Eagle Beach! I had surf and turf and it was one of the best meals of the week!

Our server was Ingrid and gave great local tips, was very attentive and provided great service.

It is smaller place and all outdoors, they are only open for dinner.

Las Ramblas is well worth the trip to the Eagle Beach area - beat crowds, get great food and a great view!

“Hidden gem at La Cabana”
Reviewed June 29, 2010

Great outdoor restaurant with a view of the beach and sunset. The tapas are wonderful. The food is all cooked outdoors on a charcoal grill. The service was exceptional and the prices were very reasonable. We might have to make this place a regular stop on our trips to Aruba. Oh and I forgot to mention the guitarist. Very nice music for a relaxing dinner.
