Stayed in this hotel for a short business trip. Friendly staff, happy to help you out. The garden court is a great place, trees with flowers that smell and look lovely. The hotel is near the beach and a short walk to the centre of the city. The price is quite reasonable. I am sure to go back to this hotel when I have to be there again!

Room Tip: Ask for a room looking to the garden.

This hotel has been used by us for many years, for both business and pleasure. On our recent visit this month, we were pleasantly surprised to see all the new changes. Updated totally renovated guest rooms, bright, airy, opening to the NEW Pool area, which has undergone a major overhaul. Lovely, quiet, and features a hot tub too. The new breakfast room is now enclosed and is clean, sparking white and has a great array for a breakfast buffet; two types of eggs, fresh fruit, assorted breads, pastries, breakast meats, cheeses, yogurt, coffee, juices. There are also tables out side if you wish. This is a great value and the staff is what makes if, from Maritza, Dino, "SNooki", Anna, and Edgar, everyone takes pride in extending the warm friendly Aruba hospitality. I recommend this property for comfort, value and friendliness.

Room Tip: The new rooms in the #300's and the new apartments are beautifully redone.....

In a nice island nothing better than a nice hotel. This hotel make honor to his name "the Talk of the Town" After you stay in it you relaice you have to talk about it. Aruba is a beautiful Island full of extremely expensive hotels however the this hotel who has reasonable price are near those expensive hotels. You get a great peaceful environment excellent service and and a wonderful swimming pool, bur just across the street you also have a beautiful beach. I was disappointed only in one thing, the food. If you arrive in a late flight this hotel does not offer food after 9PM. However you can go across the street and there are a wagon who offer food all night long. Also you can get something to drink there too. The Bar in the hotel close at 11 PM. Bad thing, after that time you may have to go across the street or move to the town if you want to drink something after 11PM. The rooms are spacious and very clean and colorful. It has microwave and refrigerator in the room. Also, they offer free Wi-Fi in the room and around the hotel. In the room you also have iron board, iron and a safe box for your valuables. There are no coffee pots in the room. A full all you can eat breakfast is included wish I recomend to take some fruits for later and keep in the refrigerators in the room for later snacks,,,lol!.. just a tip it helps. I hope you enjoy this hotel as I did, I fully recommended. I want to recommend to the Venezuelans owners to step up a litter bid and extend the food time at least till the bar close.

This is a basic hotel (nothing wrong with that), in a very good location.

The staff were very friendly, and courteous and always happy to help and assist you.

The rooms were a little dated in truth. A small coat of fresh paint every so often goes a long way, and this place could do with just that.
I always try to use the safe in the rooms for passport etc', but this safe was prehistoric and looked like it you could hit it and a hole would appear in the side. The bedding was find, as were the fixtures and fittings of the room. The bathroom was a little dated again, and could do with some TLC. (watch out for gekkos in your bath as well! LOL)

The food, I would say was expensive, but this is the same all over the island as nearly everything has to be imported, so that's fine.

I have read other reviews talking about the traffic, this did not bother me too much apart fro the weekends when some VERY loud motorbikes tend to congregate in the area.

Oh yeah, watch out for the mozzies!

Room Tip: Try an upper floor looking over the swimming pool.

I was here a couple of years ago.

Normally I stay at the high rise area in Palm Beach, where you can almost roll out of your bed straight into the ocean. Talk of The Town is different, it's a really short drive from the airport and you can easily walk into the tow centre. I remember the rooms having everything you need. Just make sure you have a room facing the pool and not the road, then you'll be fine.

I stayed here in the past and mostly was satisfied, but this trip changed my mind $118 USD a nite no coffee for the rooms in the morning. They gave me One little piece of soap for 3 day stay, now i was there working, and i understand when there's an all you can buffet, but all the working crew must leave before the buffet starts, i would think they would open a little early for those working in Aruba or at least leave one cup of coffee in the room for them , well i gave them there 2nd chance.
oh by the way I stopped by with 3 beautiful ladies to join me at the bar and keep the place active for several hours on my first nite there. where's the appreciation

We missed our flight and needed a place to stay for one night. Airport staff recommended this called for us to get a price quote and told us we could literally walk from the airport to the hotel. Unfortunately they did not mention there was a parade on that route at the very moment. Guess he told us to walk because you couldn't get a cab down that block anyway. We got there and the front desk gave us a much higher price then we were told 30minutes prior. We had no where else to go so we took it. It came with a dinner included. Dinner was strange you had to inform the staff you wanted the menu for the free food, then got 1 drink (soda) and a choice of 3 dinner options. As we were waiting for food, more guest started coming down for dinner as well an were all saying the same things about the limited menu. The paying menu had tons more options to chose from but we weren't all that unimpressed with the food, it was decent.
We went night swimming since that's the time we arrived, the pool is huge for such a small looking place. It was 12 or 15 ft deep which is great for people who get tired of the common 4ft depth at most resorts. But be careful obviously no lifeguards are present. I guess once a few guest see people utilizing the facilities they all come out. I think the taxi to the airport was 7$.
Room was basic, huge bathroom, nothing very upscale just a good room for a sometimes reasonable price.
