“Probably the best spot in Aruba”
Reviewed August 14, 2009

We were there once in the past just after their debut on the Aruba culinary scene. After two years they improved the food and the wine list. The ambience is nice with an outdoor patio and several internal rooms . We returned twice, always in the patio this year and also if we waited an eternity between the appetizer and the main couse ( delicious tuna !!) I still think that worth the visit. Nice the dessert section with 10 small portions that you can choose for 2 $. Great idea to taste several options. If they can reduce the waiting time ( over 40 minutes) between first and mainc course , it would be perfect.

“a great meal in aruba”
Reviewed May 16, 2009

We just got back from Aruba (second time) and made sure to visit twice to our favorite restaurant on the island. The service is excellent and the food is delicious. I had the rack of lamb both nights because I love the way they make it. My husband had the seared tuna one night and a steak the next. You must try the Sangria, it is amazing. Also the atmosphere is very romantic. Make sure to sit outside. We cannot wait to return next year.

“Beware of the Grouper!”
Reviewed March 20, 2009

Ate there last night and was impressed with the first course , the tuna tartare. Was quite tasty and then was "bumb rushed" the next course the grouper, My wife ordered it "crusted" which was a dry piece of fish with a dump of cheese sauce on top of it. Totally tasteless and something one cannot eat. I had ordered the grouper with a coating of tapenade on top, This too came dry and tasteless. Both entrees were served with tasteless vegetables and mashed god knows what. We ate both courses in 40 minutes since service was something you really didnt wish on your enemy. We were rushed out of the restaurant and on the way out told the owner what we felt about the meal but it appears that she too couldnt care less. Well, I have eated there for the last time. Avoid at all cost! Many many better restaurants in Aruba!

“The best meal we've had here so far”
Reviewed February 13, 2009

What a great meal! We arrived early for our reservation. They weren't open yet, but let us in and sat us in their lounge with a drink while the staff ate their meals. They were very friendly and didn't treat us like we were disturbing them. When it was time, they sat us and the meal began. We started out with a Shrimp and Scallop appetizer. This was just amazing! So good! We also had the Mozzarell, tomato salad for app. Also good, but it's really hard to make that bad.
For the main course, I had Green Crusted Lamb Chops. They were just delicious!! Not a bit left over! Hubby had Seared Tuna and he loved it. One son had NY Strip Steak with a brown sauce that he really enjoyed (and he normally doesn't go for steak), my other boy, who's harder to please just had pasta with butter. Made him happy.
Their desserts are unusual. They call them Tapas, and they are pretty much that. They are served in a cordial glass. Just enough for 2 bites to get the taste. We had a few and they were very good. Don't really remember which we had other than Chocolate Mousse and Banana Split.
All in all, an excellent meal. Definitely worth putting on the list of places to dine.
