On our first trip to Aruba, my husband and I wanted to stay away from the low and high-rise hotel areas. We found Paradise Found and are so glad we did! Our own “private” beach, right across the street, proved to be our favorite on the entire island! There is a great dock about a 15 minute swim from the “beach” that offers amazing views and an opportunity to rest.
Though it is not close to the downtown life, there are great restaurants within walking distance or a very short drive. We ate at Marina Pirata and Flying Fish Bone, which are both very close.
The innkeepers are so wonderful, friendly, helpful, and welcoming. They made our stay even better than we imagined. They even catered to our dietary concerns for breakfast, which was delicious everyday and served on the patio with a gorgeous view. They were great in offering places to go and things to see. We especially loved the Ayo Rock Formations and the gold mine ruins. We highly recommend renting a car and going to the northern side of the island to check out the entirely different coastal area.
The room was small, but adequate and very clean. After all, you are in Aruba! Why would you hang out in your room!
After touring around the low and high-rise hotel areas, there is no where on the island we would rather stay than Paradise Found.
There is another great beach area a short walk up the street. All in all, this is a fantastic place to stay if you are looking for an off the beaten path way of visiting Aruba. The price of the room made is easy for us to have a better than vacation. Highly recommended!
