“Great Food, Drink, Desert and Atmosphere!”
Reviewed March 4, 2013

We were here two years ago, and had a great time. First time at the place and it was a great atmosphere. Best to arrive to see the sunset from the water, while you eat.
We were here again for the second time on March 2, 2013. Great Service, they pay attention to their customers, the appetizers are out of this world, the mahi mahi was outstanding, the desert was great, and the atmosphere was romantic and relaxing!

“Best atmosphere for dining in Aruba”
Reviewed March 4, 2013

Each year we come to Aruba and each year we always eat at Que Pasa Restaurant in old downtown. Well this year we finally ate at the sister restaurant Marandi. The tables sit out on a dock and as you eat dinner with a cool breeze you can watch the sunset. And as at Que Pasa, we were not disappointed with the menu and cuisine. The food was exceptional. That night they had a special drink which was made with watermelon juice. What a great refreshing drink on a warm evening. I do not normally have a desert but they featured a banana creme brûlée.. Yummy! You will not be disappointed. It is a must if you are in Aruba. !

“A Wonderful Evening!!”
Reviewed February 27, 2013

Mirandi is one of our very favorite restaurants! We have been their guests since they initially opened at another location and subsequently moved, but you must consider a visit here! Located over the water, on an extended deck/ pier, with fish beneath you, and well-prepared food with exquisite presentation, as well as gracious hosts, you will definitely enjoy your evening. It is worth the taxi or the map to travel there. Actually just a short distance south of t he airport, you will thoroughly enjoy your evening. We have enjoyed seafood specials, pasta, as well as meat. A nice evening. Only drawback-- they now charge for additional bread. We never fed our bread to the fish, and definitely enjoyed the bread for ourselves, but seem opposed to paying extra to enjoy the additional bread, when so little is given initially. otherwise, a wonderful evening. We have been patrons since their initial opening!!!!!!

“Very romantic atmosphere”
Reviewed February 27, 2013

The atmosphere was amazing. The food was good but I was definitely more impressed by the ambiance. It's a $25 cab ride (one way) from the hotel strip so keep that in mind. The wine was excellent, salad great, entree (swordfish) was good (but a bit undercooked for my liking...ask for well done if you like it cooked all the way through). Dessert was interesting (fiancé and I shared "brown lady"). Service was excellent.

“what a way to start our vacation”
Reviewed February 26, 2013

Friends asked us to share our first night in Aruba with them... and now we wonder why we never heard of Marandi before. Hours after landing and settling in our condo, we had one of the best meals we have had in Aruba in the twelve years we have been here. The setting is beautiful... right on the edge of the water. Perfect for sunset (though we were too late) The fish selections on the menu were unique each of us was delighted with our choice. ( I had the triple tail fish- excellent) The service was very professional and friendly. We were told to take our time and enjoy the evening- which we did- thoroughly. Don't miss this restaurant while in Aruba!
