On the Aruba site this is Number 1. I would agree the food, the service and atmospher were great. I would say #1 or #2, Reservations are needed and ask for the waterside tables.
At sunset time it does get busy with most people taking pictures.
great wine list and menu options. We will be back next trip.

"Aruba's Sunset Restaurant" listed on their Business Card. This a beautiful hidden Thatched Roof Out-of-Doors RESTAURANT hidden behind the Reina Beatrix Airport at Bucuti Weg #50 in Oranjestad ARUBA. We had a friend from Nashville recommend this to us, and we are so glad that we went; it is a TreasureFind. Excellent Meal, Excellent Service. We took a Groom and his Fiancee here as we all met in Aruba; Marandi served a special surprise at the end. Good Wine list; good selection of Specials the night be were there. This is a must go. The view is spectacular at Sunset. You can even see Renaissance Island from a distant.

We loved this restaurant. We took a cab from the resort and it could be a little hard to find if you're on your own - it's out between the airport and the water. Well worth the ride. Excellent setting right over the water - we were later, but I'm sure it'd be spectacular at sunset. Dinner itself was excellent - 2 couples with several different entrees - we all loved our meals. Would definitely return here, it was one of our better selections of the week!

What a surprise. Although out of the way and a little difficult to find, our foursome all thought it was worth the drive. Loved the atmosphere. We got a beautiful corner table that had spectacular views. We were seating right on the water with lights reflecting on the water so you could see the fish. Got there at 6:30 so the sunset was awesome. Musician singing and playing softly in the background added to the ambiance. We all thought the food was delicious and the waitstaff was friendly and accommodating. Read about this place on the internet but when we were in Aruba not a lot of people have heard of this place, which we found very interesting.

The atmosphare it beautiful - service very attentive - food usually very good. I have been there many times - this time I did not do so well. I had an appetizer which was a mixture between fish and bacon and would not recommend it. Also, the Mahi Mahi was a little on the dry side. Nevertheless, I would always go back and try it again.
