We have eaten here for decades, always making it a MUST for one night, However, we decided the prices have increased and the quality is not quite what it used to be. You can totally share the Gouch steak between 2 people.

Steak was great, sides were average, our waiter was fabulous. We loved the Mariachi's. We could have done without the rude hostess who didn't know how to handle restaurant customers. A table of older local women sitting behind us complained that our table of 12 was too loud, we had just sat down and were no louder than anyone else in the restaurant, the restaurant that had 2 guitar players, a christening party and other regular dinner guests just in our general area alone. The hostess was rude and did nothing to squash the situation other than attempting to be rude to us. She was put in her place (nicely) quickly by guests at our table, and our waiter immediately came over and apologized about her behavior and agreed he was unsure why she took it upon herself to come over as she was not a manager and handled it poorly. By the end of the night the complainers were singing along with us and the Mariachi's (who we gave a decent amount of tips to so they would keep playing and keep playing loudly near us). All in all an average place with good steak.

Every time I go to Aruba, I stop and have dinner here at this Argentinian steak house. I've been going to Aruba for 16 years and this one is always on my list. The steaks are always juicy and tender and there's a lot of food with all of the sides that come with your meal. You don't have to order them a la carte like your typical Flemings or Ruth Chris in the states. I love to getting the plantains as one of my sides. Reservations are a must as this place is usually busy. This is a must try. The decor is dated and you don't have a beach view, but you will enjoy the mariachi that is walking around playing music as well as a great meal. Sangrias are very good as well.
