Description: Newly located in the Renaissance Marketplace downtown, Cuba's Cookin' has moved with the times just as when Fidel began his march on Havana in 1959. This is what Havana would have looked & felt like.... and when the live music starts up nightly....this is exactly what you would have heard & seen back then. A moment in history brought out in Cuba's food, mojitos, art, culture and dance. A real authentic dinning experience you will take home forever from your trip to Aruba.

We ate here because we were tired of fish. The seats were great for people watching. The starter that they bring out was good to snack on while getting your food. We grabbed a coupon for a free mojoito in an Aruba guide and they didn't skimp on the alcohol. I had the grilled veggie and my husband had the skirt steak; both were super...opt for the yellow rice as well. The service was the best!!!! Our drinks didn't go empty the entire time and they have multiple people waiting your table. The bathroom is upstairs, but us not a problem, but for other's it could b.

I got the lechon and did not like it at all. I was just a pork roast with Mojo seasoning poured on. Not authentic at all and I should know because I cook it myself

“Great Food; Fun Atmosphere”
Reviewed January 5, 2012

We have gone to Cuba's Cooking' several times. Each time the food has been delicious and the service is excellent. The Mojito's are a must! Great food selections include the Chicken & Olives and the Garlic Shrimp... but everything there is tasty (we've never had a bad meal). The Cuban guitarist/singer is very talented and makes the restaurant even more special and fun... especially when he gets audience involved in singing, guitar playing, dancing or just shaking the Marakas.

“Best Meal in Aruba!”
Reviewed January 3, 2012

Mu husband and I have traveled to Aruba twice and have visited this restaurant each time! They now have a new location downtown, which we were nervous about because the original was quaint and unique. But our concerns were put to rest the moment we entered the door: beautiful, unique, colorful decor with live cuban jazz pouring out the windows!

The food is mouth watering...try the ropa vieja and the cuban ribs- delicious! Refreshing mojitos are a must, but the also have a decent wine list.

We've been as a couple and with a group of friends and have truly enjoyed it each and every time. We'll return soon!
