We took 2 de palm tours, one at the Palm island and the catmaran sail and snorkel tours, Both were excellent, and on time. De palm island has many activities for the whole family, meals are average, it is very clean and organized. The catamaran took us to 2 snorkel areas, the paty on the boat was a lot of fun and the afternoon sail part was amazing. Will definetely recomend to others

While vacationing in Aruba we decided to spend the money to go to De Palm Island for the day . It was pretty nice. Had to buy water shoes because the rocks were terrible when entering the water! But other than that it was great. All you can eat Buffett and alcohol is included also. There was a water park for the kids and snorkeling and banana boat rides are included. We spent the extra money to Snuba, and it was so worth it! We were about 20 feet underwater and it was gorgeous. Clear water with tons of fish swimming right next to you! Loved it! It's a little pricey to spend the day on the island unless you drink a lot of alcohol to make up for it. But I'm glad we went. It was a fun day!

We booked De Palm Snorkeling through our Resort and we were not disappointed! We were picked up from our resort in a nice air conditioned travel bus and taken to the De Palm dock entrance. The guides were friendly, knowledgeable and most of all personable and funny. The catamaran was well kept and clean. We had three stops ( Shipwreck, Coral Reef in front of California Lighthouse and another sandbar/coral reef. This was our first time snorkeling and we had an amazing time. They served a great lunch (and open bar) which was an excellent end to our wonderful day! Thank you!

What a great day of fun and adventure. We snorkeled, went on the banana boat, had salsa and merengue lessons, played in the water park and rested in the sun. Others were able to snuba and scuba as well.

Being 2 experienced snorkels and frequent visitors to the many Caribbean islands through the years, we look forward to different snorkel trips. De palm tour company comes reccomended by Marriott, where we stayed. We signed up for the half day, afternoon snorkel trip. Includes 2 snorkel stops, open bar( cheapest, watered down drinks), snacks ( hot dogs, sandwiches, fruit), They pick you up at your hotel and shuttle you to the dock. You wait in line to check in,pay, obtain a wrist band, wait in another line to board the large catamaran. Our trip was about 50% full. Thank god, would hate to see this catamaran a full occupancy! They heard you under the boat for the instructions and safety rules. We head to the first snorkel stop, anchor over one of the famous shipwrecks. ..into the water, we quickly realize you must be a very, very strong swimmer, thank god we were. The current was so strong, you got the workout to burn the calories you were going to drink with the cheap, watered down Aruba punch they provided during the trip in huge 20 gal. Coolers. 2 people were rescued during this spot, yes, the lifeguard on duty, jumped in, swam the hard current to assist a women, 2 others were assisted with life rings and assistance from staff. Visibility was so poor, you couldn't see much, you were more concerned about hitting your head on the boat from the current. One commented " now im coast guard certified"..They then take you to the second snorkel stop which was much calmer, near a cove. Nice array of fish, but definitely have experienced more in other islands. My guess is, no matter how strong the current is for that day, the trip is never cancelled. It should have been, or a different route for days like this. De palm tours may be setting themselves up for trouble. They should have al least informed you prior to boarding but I'm sure it was more important to de palm tours you participate. there were kids as young as 8 and adults older than 80 in our group.not worth tipping unless I was rescued.. We reccomended hiring a private or smaller boat, get the service and attention you need and deserve.
