We spent our last meal here in Antigua after watching a days classic yacht racing from Shelley heights. No regrets, there was certainly plenty of food for your dollar, Hubby had the life burger and it was huge.. No sides required. I had the fish kebab with rice, very tasty and to top it we had the Scottish sherry trifle to finish and plenty of rum on the side. Thoroughly recommend this place. Shame we missed the live band due to having to negotiate the Antiguan roads back to non such.

Fast friendly and happy crowd. The wait staff were very attentive and the food was of superior if not excellent quality. We will go back during our one week stay

A pleasant addition to the food and drink venues in English Harbour. We tried this venue for the first time last week and vere very pleased with the food, drink and atmosphere. If, like me you enjoy spicy food then try the "sucide fries" (fries with a hot sauce coating).
When outside of the UK we usually avoid any venue that describes itself as a "British Pub" like the plague but "Life on the Corner" is not at all like that. Some of the food choices lean a little towards British fare but with a local slant. We only had a chance to eat there once on this visit but judging by the numbers of people in there it is a popular choice for many.
We will be back.

We ate at LOTC twice. Our first dinner was the featured chicken curry, accompanied by terrific biryani rice, two vegetable sides and several traditional condiments ( chutney, raita). The curry was as good as any I have ever had, with a nice heat. Portions were very generous. Second dinner was the Sunday roast suckling pig, with no less than seven veg on the plate, homemade applesauce, gravy, etc. Delicious! Very reasonably priced, and delivered by energetic, friendly staff. Owner Carolyn does a great job buzzing around and making everyone feel as if it is their place too.
