This excursion was amazing! It started off with Damon picking us up directly at our resort and giving us history of the island on the way to the beach. When we arrived, we put on our gear and headed into the ocean to view the marine life. As we swam out, we saw multiple ship wrecks, sting rays, fish and of course sea turtles! We then swam out towards the pillars of Hercules which was stunning. The powered sea scooters made this adventure a blast, and it helped get you in deeper water to get closer to the marine life (if you choose, you’re welcome to stay towards the surface if that suits you!)
I would definitely recommend this trip to any travelers looking for an adventure!
I am a local and I generally love anything that involves the ocean. This tour was absolutely amazing! I give it 5/5! It's a great combination of snorkeling and free diving but with a scooter! You are able to glide through the waters effortlessly because you have the scooter. You use less energy in swimming so that you have more time to gaze at the beautiful underwater scene. The tour guides Damon and Roquell made the tour worth it too! They were so knowledgeable about the underwater life which made the tour also informative and exciting. I am highly impressed that they are able to dive without the scooter and capture amazing photos of my awesome time there. I am certainly going to be doing this again! Seeing the sting rays, sea turtles and the various marine life as well as, a ship wreck was breathtaking!
Thank you guys! I highly recommend this tour for anyone who is looking to do something exciting and different in the Antigua! I mean how many times can you actually say you free dive and snorkel with a scooter in Antigua???
This was the coolest snorkeling experience I have ever had. I'm a big guy and was worried about the weight restriction for the scooter but it wasn't an issue. Damon was a great tour guide from hotel pick up to drop off. He shared knowledge about the island of Antigua and Barbuda while on the way to English Harbor. The scooter helps propeller you through the water which allows you to conserve energy. We saw turtles, sting rays, jellyfish and tons of fish. I almost forget a ship wreck! This is a must do while in Antigua.
This was so much fun! Guide was very professional. We saw all sorts of marine wildlife including turtles, lobster, sting rays, schools of colorful fish, and even a barracda! Scooter was very cool machine. All you have to do is hit a button and it takes care of the work. The Guide will take photos of you during the experience and email them to you afterwards.
I highly reccommend this excursion if you're visiting Antiqua!
Damon gave my son and I the most wonderful personalised experience as we so comfortably scooter snorkelled with the turtles and stingrays. Highly, highly recommended- both Damon and the experience.
