“Excellent fine or casual dining”
Reviewed March 18, 2014 via mobile

My sister and I took our parents to this restaurant for their 36 wedding anniversary. Even though my sister wasn't feeling well we still really enjoyed ourselves. As we were seated we were treated with complimentary champagne for our celebration. The owner very enthusiastically came by to describe the menu and special items. He is very passionate about the food he serves!! He altered our appetizers to be suited for sharing. The calamari is absolutely fantastic I wish we ordered three!! The sauce served with the calamari is really good, there is a slight hint of dill or capers.. I am not sure I just know it is amazing. The lobster (either in a soup, pasta or as a main) was cooked to perfection! The homemade pasta doesn't disappoint nor does the gnocchi. All the meat was cooked properly and the service was top notch. To end the meal was great tortino, and a nice lemonchello. All in all a great experience. The owner ran outside after us to thank us for coming!! How nice!!! The restaurant has a great atmosphere and could be considered fine dining or casual. Thanks for the great time!!

“Magic meals at Abracadabra”
Reviewed March 13, 2014

Recently we were fortunate enough to return to Antigua for our vacation. While there we had to go back to Abra for 2 exceptional meals. The staff, ambiance, food and wine are so worth the visit! My husband had their specialty....suckling pig for the 2nd time and found it to be every bit as good as he remembered. Their homemade pastas are light and full of flavor. We will return there when we can get back to Nelson's Dockyard.

Thank you Abracadabra (and the folks from Catherine's Cafe Plage who sent us there). Abracadabra has an inventive menu of classic Italian incorporating the fabulous local catch and inventive twists. The antipasti was a great way to start a great meal. Wonderfully welcoming and fabulous service on the multiple visits we made.
