“Fun atmosphere, great menu, nice food, great bar”
Reviewed May 17, 2013

Have been many times over the years and we went a couple of times during our recent visit and really enjoyed our evenings there. Sat in the bar, trying the cocktails, we were made to feel at home by welcoming bar staff and ended up having some shots with them later on. Food-wise, great choice on the menu and was difficult to make a choice as it all looked so good, and we weren't disappointed when it came, as it was delicious. Only down-side was that mine was a bit too rich for my fragile stomach, but that's probably me rather than the chef, as the meal was really nice. Like the bar-staff, the waitress and owner were lovely and friendly. It attracts a good number of the sailing crowd during the race weeks, which helps give the bar area a lively, though never overwhelming feel. Great to have a place with good atmosphere like this. Thoroughly recommend both restaurant and bar.

“Could not be faulted”
Reviewed May 10, 2013

We had not visited this restaurant for a few years, but I have to say it is better than ever. Lively - if you want lively, or go earlier in the evening if you just want a nice quiet meal. It caters for all. Food is first class and not expensive bearing in the mind the overall quality of the food and surroundings. Staff could not be faulted - excellent.

“Exciting Restaurant”
Reviewed May 3, 2013

Recently went to this restaurant in Antigua, it was buzzing with activity and the passion of the owner Paola was only matched by the quality of the food that followed.

A fabulous lively atmosphere prevailed during the evening, a fun night out, later on there was dancing in a lively bar adjoining the restaurant.

Highly recommended.

“Bah !”
Reviewed April 26, 2013

We went there for diner and I think it's more a place to party than a place to have good food. The food was ok but not more. The owner has a lot (maybe too much) energy but once again, I think it's the idea of a party place !

“Abras delivers a good night out every time!”
Reviewed April 14, 2013

Paulo has a passion for the food he serves and the way he describes his menu is not to be missed. The consistently good food and wine served each season at this fabulous old home is remarkable. The parties abras throw and the dance atmosphere which evolves later in the evening is not to be missed!
