“Nice beach.”
Reviewed March 8, 2014

As the title says, great location and it was fun to watch some of the kite-surf enthusiasts enjoying themselves in the water.

“Kite Surfing”
Reviewed February 28, 2014

great place to watch kite surfers! it's a longer beach, not much width for sunbathing, and the wind brings in seaweed. but the surfers are the show here

“Windy and quiet”
Reviewed February 23, 2014

Watch the kite surfers. Nice walk along the beach. Past the dead tree and the abandoned building is a quiet spot for sunbathing and good swimming. Snorkelling is not the best as this side of the island can be very windy in January.

“A kitesurfer's paradise.”
Reviewed February 8, 2014

This is truly a beautiful place.
We had a pretty difficult time finding somewhere to park, and the wind was very strong - the reason this is so very popular with Wind & Kite surfers, and pretty crowded at the weekend.
It is worth visiting, but, unless you want to enjoy the "sea sports", there are many many more sheltered, and comfortable beaches on Antigua.
We took a picnic, but had to eat it in the Jeep, as it was so windy, the sandwiches (and us), were soon covered in sand!

“Island Time”
Reviewed January 24, 2014

I spent a season learning and kiting at Jabberwock Beach. Kitesurf Antigua has a professional, safe and energetic vibe, whilst maintaining a cool, fun atmosphere which finds you relaxing on the beach with new-found friends and staff long after your lesson or session has ended. I learnt from scratch and felt confident with the patient, attentive instructors, with whom I built a good rapport and felt were excited to watch my progression over the weeks. They built on my strengths and weaknesses and there were always extra hands and eyes around to ensure the utmost safety at all times.

Learning to launch and land on the beach was a vital skill that is sometimes lacking in schools and the white sands and crystal clear water really added to the experience. I have since returned to Jabberwock to ride independently, am always welcomed back with open arms, and have also kited in Brazil, Mexico and Nicaragua.

Jabberwock will always be number 1 in my eyes! Happy kiting!!!!
