Owner description: Locally owned and operated, educational, adventure boat company guiding to little islands and secluded bays off the beaten track. Tours have themes of history and ecology mixed in with the best snorkeling and sightseeing. All of the crew are passionate about the island and it's unique coastline and their goal is to make sure your day spent on one of their boats is the best you will experience while in the Caribbean.

Our family of five, ages 19 through 53, took a cruise through the Western Caribbean during the second to last week in December 2012. Our second to last stop was Antigua, where we booked the “Echo Tour” in advance. This was, without a doubt, the best and most memorable thing we did during our cruise. (And we did a lot: 10 days at five different ports.) The Echo Tour is an all-day boat tour – and it really is all day: we started at 10 a.m. and got back at 4 p.m. – along the coast of Antigua, with three stops at different mini islands nearby. Antigua’s coastline is breathtaking: beautiful foliage, gorgeous beaches and magnificent dream houses. Our guides, Nicki and Arian, were wonderful, and took the time to answer any questions we had about Antigua or its mini sister islands one-on-one. While the boat tour was fantastic – as was the homemade lunch: pasta salad, barbeque chicken and salad – the three stops were the highlight of the excursion. Hell’s Gate, our first stop, is a wonder to look at, while Bird Island, our second stop, provides magazine-worthy views of the Caribbean Sea. (Our only recommendation is to bring some kind of walking shoes for the two islands. Although the hikes are short, they’re rocky. Adventure Antigua provides watershoes for everyone, but actual shoes you don’t mind getting wet would be better.) These were only out done by our third stop: an intricate coral reef just off the coast of Bird Island. Here was spent at least 30 minutes snorkeling, and were constantly wowed by the number of fish and other sea creatures we saw. For a bunch of near-virgin snorkelers – some of our family had gone snorkeling once or twice before – snorkeling here was better than we’d imagined. Our tour ended with some delicious (and strong) rum punch as we cruised our way around Antigua back to port. Adventure Antigua did an incredible job throughout our entire excursion, and took us to places you could never visit if you stayed on mainland Antigua. We will, without a doubt, be touring with them again next time we visit.

We booked the Eco Tour online and were only in Antigua for the day (cruise ship stop). Nikki and Fran *sp were the best guides we have ever had on an excursion. Their knowledge and love for Antigua was apparent. They picked us up on time from the scheduled meeting spot and we boarded an immaculate boat. We made several stopping spots on the water and were treated to the history of the area we were viewing. They were never rushed and would answer any questions. The stop at "Hells Gate" was beautiful and the short hike to the top was beautiful. We traveled to Bird island and had lunch on a beautiful beach, We were told the history of the island and its inhabitants (snakes) and made a short hike to the top for some more amazing views. We then traveled to a reef and snorkeled. Very relaxing day, beautiful scenery, great food, friendly and knowledgeable guides. Highly recommend them and look forward to seeing them again.

Great folks that run this company ship. We were on the eco tour that does a trip from our Jolly Harbor Marina pick up, around the north side of the island to Long Island, past to Hell's Gate, for a hike and snorkel, swim, on to lunch, then a hike, then a snorkel and back.
A full day, with great narration and history by Nikki, Trevor and the captain, whose name I cannot pronounce. Very professional, very helpful with new and advanced snorklers. Highly recommend them. Heard from others that the circumnavigation sail is excellent as well.

Took the Extreme tour last week and had a fantastic time. The best way to see Antigua is from the water and the high speed boats allowed us time at each of our spots. Eli grew up here and know much about the area and the ecology. We ended up on one of the most beautiful and unspoiled beaches on the island to top off the day. Highly recommend!!!

We got picked up at Jolly Harbour & off we went on a great all day tour around Antigua's coastline. Stopped off at Stingray City where you can swim with the stingrays - plenty of them as well ! Had a nice lunch at Green Island. Snorkelled at The Pillars of Hercules & topped it off with Rum punch at Rendevous Bay - stunning location only accessible by boat. The 3 guys on board kept us well informed as we toured the island. A great day out & good way of finding out about the island.
