I have to say that this lounge does serve a purpose, It's cool, its away from the hustle and bustle and customs come to you and you are taken to the aircraft in your very own transport but the 7 photo's on here are not alike the actual lounge.

I was in the lounge on Sunday and the only part of the lounge that looked slightly like the photo's was the outside area. It is not well lit, they say they have three tv's they don't, One is at reception the other is in a tv room but the size of the tv is smaller than some peoples tablets.

I know it sounds like I am digging into this lounge but I am only telling the truth, It does what it says on the lid. It's secluded, its small but cool, they offer snacks, drinks and duty free but it is limited to what they offer. How ever on the duty free side they will go to the airport and get what you are after if it's available.

The cost is $95 then they will put tax and your departure tax on that. The staff are friendly but the website and its own pictures paint a totally other scene regarding its layout and features in picture. There is a time restriction on your visit. You can not turn up to the lounge any earlier than 4 hours before. So if you have an early check out or a connecting flight outside of the time frame you wont be allowed in.

We were in transit for 5 hours from the BVIs & our travel agent recommended the lounge. Having suffered 3 hours in Antigua Airport on the way out we knew we'd made the right decision.

After clearing customs we were whisked away to the quiet air conditioned lounge for utter relaxation. We didn't see our luggage until we arrived at LGW. Boarding cards we printed, delicious snacks & endless drinks were offered. We had a shower, went through private security then were chauffeur driven to the steps on the plane.

Money well spent.

We found this on the internet and what a result. Why endure the chaos of the departure lounge when, for what is really a reasonable fee, the quality, peace and tranquility of the Outbound Lounge can be enjoyed before your flight. The lounge is predominately for private jet travellers but British Airways have an agreement to allow their passengers the use of the lounge. Places are limited so early booking is advised to avoid disappointment. On arrival we were greeted by Dawn who gave us a tour of the facilities including the restrooms, the security/baggage lounge, the duty free shop and the outdoor deck with chairs and loungers. Dawn and her staff took care of everything related to check-in,boarding passes, departure taxes etc. Refreshments were provided. All we had to do was relax. VIP treatment and no noise or crowded airport. At the appropriate time we were taken through the security check, escorted to our private transport and driven to the steps of our aircraft via the terminal where the BA boarding gate staff came to us to verify our boarding cards. Untill we saw the aircraft it was hard to believe we were at an airport, such was the calm and quiet way that the Outbound staff conducted proceedings. We feel this service is great value and would certainly use it again.

Travel tip: make sure your taxi company / travel rep knows of your plan to use Gate 10 Outbound Lounge before date of departure so that the extra distance driven and cost can be settled in advance as local ground handling agents may not have all the details to hand. Some UK travel agents are not linked to this service and the booking may have to be made direct with the Outbound Lounge.

Came upon this while browsing the web and what a find. From the moment we arrived and our luggage was taken from us to the moment we stepped on the plane we were treated like VIPs.

Definitely worth the money. No long, hot queues. Everything was taken care of, even the departure tax and passport control came on to the bus.

Lovely service and lovely food/drink.

We used the lounge the end of January after staying at Jumby Bay.
The pickup was excellent and the staff went out of their way to help, that much we are using again in April on our return to Jumby.
Excellent.
