Nicole and Connie have achieved what many have tried and failed to do and have turned me into a cook! At first I couldn't believe that we would make so many dishes from scratch but we did with the help of our lovely fellow guests.
I'd like to name a favourite dish but everything from the coconut crisps to the rum sponge cake via the jerk chicken with accompaniments was excellent. It was all washed down with some rum punch, plenty of friendly chat and Nicole and Adam happily answered our many questions about Antigua. Booking is easy- highly recommend.

LOL! Now that you are a cook, you must send us photos of you cooking the recipes when you get back home. Please do it while you are still confident from our class. Start with the rum punch and then go from there... ;-) We can send you the recipe for that too. Humor aside, thank you for visiting and we hope the rest of your trip goes as well as your time with us. It was truly great fun having you here.

All the best,

Nicole (and Adam)

Saw this experience on Trip Advisor rated very highly and my friend and I booked 2 days in advance. We found the house easily. There were two other guests from the UK, so just the 4 of us learning some Caribbean cookery. Nicole, her husband, Adam and her helper, Connie are genuinely lovely people and we had a wonderful time. The food (jerk chicken with all the accompaniments, rum cake to follow) was the best I've tasted in a very long time and we had prepared and cooked it all ourselves, with Nicole's recipes and guidance!! Hygiene is impeccable, the quality of the ingredients was amazing esp when you consider the limitations of living on an island which doesn't produce much because of a long-term drought. Don't even spend time thinking about it - book online and just do it! Even if you are on a cruise, docking for just one day. I'll be back to Antigua and will book for a curry day next. Nom nom.

Thank you Trudy!! Doing these classes is great fun for all of us too. We get to do what we love best... cook, eat, and have fun with new friends. Everyone that comes through here is curious about learning new things. This makes the classes enjoyable for all our visitors. It doesn't matter from where someone comes, they want to learn, meet new people, and enjoy themselves.

Please look us up next time you visit the island and don't be surprised if Adam sends you a question or two about the rabbits!

All the best,

Nicole

Unique cooking experience that takes place in Nicole's private home! A culinary experience to be remembered combined with a culture learning experience. Best excursion of my whole cruise!

My good friend is just turning 50 and we planned a holiday around this time to celebrate with her and family. We have been coming to Antigua for 15 years and have family there too. I had not heard about Nicole until a recommendation from my friend's brother 'The cooking with Rum class' was fabulous. We both brought our Mum's along. Nicole & Adam are great hosts and open up their home as well as sharing their knowledge in such a warm way. Cooking was fun, tasting the Rums was great too and then a good chat over a delicious meal. I would definitely do this again as well as recommend to others.

My boyfriend and I signed up for the 'cooking with rum' class. It was great - Nicole and her family are warm and welcoming. The recipes were easy to follow, and the food was delicious! We also had a rum tasting session - which was interesting... And tasty! This was one of our favourite activities of the holiday - I'd highly recommend it.

Thank you Shona and Mike! We enjoyed having the two of you stop by as well. We even put the video of your moment of truth on Facebook when you tasted your rum cake for the first time. You can find our page by looking up NicolesTable.com in the FB search bar. Please look us up again some time and feel free to ask questions or send photos if you try out our recipes at home. Thank you!
