After lots of research and knowing the island a little, we chose Jackie's hotel based on its location and the reviews. We were not disappointed. The hotel was quiet with a lovely location overlooking Dickenson Bay. The staff were fantastic, very attentive without being intrusive. Nothing was too much trouble, Jackie even brought us tea very early every morning and Josephine cooked the fish we caught which was delicious. Altogether a fabulous holiday.

Room Tip: We had room 3 which had shade outside until about 2pm. Perfect for our fair skins.

Selected this hotel for 2 week all inclusive package because of its reviews on TA. Family thought I might have gone senile picking a pink hotel but after our stay there my wife and I were the ones who were "in the pink" so to speak.
It was a delightful stay starting with the greeting at the airport by Ryan and in the hotel by Jacqueline and her staff.
We had chosen room 1. It was spacious, clean and beautifully decorated with a very large comfortable bed. All of the other rooms that we saw were individually and very tastefully decorated.
The food was beautifully cooked and presented and we left with a number of Jacqueline's recipes which I hope we have the skills to replicate.
There is a short downhill walk to the beach and Ryan was always willing to come and pick us up when we were finished as the uphill return was a bit much for my disability.
The staff could not be more helpful in a very easy going Caribbean way which we loved.
I had my birthday here and Jacqueline produced a tremendous cake for the occasion. There was another birthday the following night and she produced a different one for that guest. My bed was also beautifully decorated on my birthday.
This is an hotel for those wanting to lie back, relax and be treated like a member of the family and for those who choose to stay here, you will not be disappointed.

Room Tip: Any room overlooking the view to Dickenson's Bay.

Before making our reservations, we read all the reviews and decided this was the place to kick back and relax. Wow! What a wonderful experience. Jackie and her staff make you feel like royalty. The rooms are charming and clean with attention to detail. When we arrived, we were greeted with some delicious Rum Punch...Ryan's special recipe. The meals were incredible, not to mention fresh baked bread, wonderful desserts and fresh bananas right from the tree. The views were spectacular. I would suggest renting a car and getting out to explore the Island. Although, for us driving on the opposite side of the street than we are used to was an adventure in itself. You are totally safe to venture out and Shirley Heights is a must see. In route there is a seafood bar and grille by the name of OJ's...worth checking out. We had the Red Snapper and it was finger licking good. If you want to relax and de-stress from the daily grind, this is your place!

Wow. We stayed for four nights, and the entire experience was perfect. Jackie, Ryan, Josephine, and the rest of the team treated us like royalty the whole time. They went out of our way to ensure that we had a wonderful experience, and their efforts were a complete success. First and foremost, the food. Though we'd prefer not to admit it, my wife and I are somewhat snobby about food. We were awestruck by how great each and every meal was at The Villas. Jackie and her team take the utmost care when it comes to preparing quality, healthy food, and it really shows. The food was the highlight, by far. Second, the service. Everyone made it their goal to make sure we had a wonderful time, including offering wonderful tours of the island. It's almost as if they knew what we would like more than we did. A wonderful experience and strongly recommended.

We recently returned from a 10 night stay with Jackie and what a wonderful experience it was. Ryan (can't say enough about this great guy) met us at the airport for the short drive to The Villas. Doreen (great gal) was there to greet us and check us in. We stayed in Room #11 which was 3 steps from the pool. Jackie caught up with us soon after to introduce herself and after about a 1/2 hour you felt like you had known her forever. The first 2 days we just hung out by the pool soaking up the sun and since there were only 2 other couples staying there, we had the pool to ourselves. On day 3 we decided to hit the beach and Ryan offered to drive us down and introduce us to Tony who owns Tony's Beach Bar and has lounge chairs on the beach that he rents out to cruise ship excursions. The chairs are no charge for Jackie's guests and Tony and his staff were very pleasant and helpful making sure that we were comfortable. In fact, Tony made a point to shake my hand each time we were there and to welcome us.

Accomodations: As mentioned, we were in Room #11 just steps from the pool. The bed was very comfortable and although the room is not large it was just perfect for us. The bathroom was large and plenty of room. Security at night is run by Champ the German Shepard......not that you need it, but he does make you feel secure.

Food: Hands down the best meals we have had on any all inclusive trip. And the view from the terrace is perfect. Jackie made it a point to find out what our likes and dislikes were and we could not have asked for better meals. The staff was very attentive to all of our needs.

Beach: This was the first place we vacationed that was not on the beach and although I had reservations about it, it turned out to be no problem. As mentioned by other reviewers, the beach is a short and comfortable walk and it felt like I got a little exercise :-)

Excursions: We did the day trip to Barbuda and had a great time on board the Excellence. The boat picks you up on the beach at Tony's around 9:30 am and return around 4:30 pm. Very professional crew plenty of drinks and the lunch was great!! We actually stopped twice on the way there for some whale watching......I think we saw 6. The beaches are pink and the water is an amazing color of blue. On Sunday Ryan drove us to Shirley Heights for the party.......had a great time and met some nice couples from Canada.....well worth the trip and Ryan couldn't be a better tour guide.

Casino: Short walk and only went 1 night. It was cheap entertainment (broke even). We aren't really gamblers but had fun and everyone was very nice and the waitresses were always there with drinks.

Before booking this trip we read all of the Trip Advisor reviews and thought "could this place really be that good"??? Believe me, it totally is and we would go back in a heartbeat!!!! Jackie makes you feel like a guest in her home (which you are) and the staff is 2nd to none.

It would have been easy to write this review while I was still visiting the Villas at Sunset Lane. From the moment we got there, my husband and I were treated very graciously by wonderful Jackie, and made to feel completely at home. We stayed in room 5, which is decorated in a relaxing cool blue. The room had a walk in closet and the bathroom was large and lovely. Everything was spotless.

The view from the terrace where we had our meals was stunning and we often would get caught up in just enjoying the sights and sunshine.

Jackie and her team provided us with such wonderful meals. Everything was delicious from the burgers to the Caribbean entrees to the rum punch... Jackie often thought of what we might need or like before we did, and when I got a sunburn when out on a boat cruise, Jackie made sure I had fresh aloe for my skin. Twice!

A review of the Villas would not be complete without a mention of Ryan, who is Jackie's right hand man. He was fantastic from the moment he met us at the airport, helping us get to where we needed to go, and making sure our meals went smoothly, etc.

The pool is not huge but it's very clean and refreshing. Because the beach is so close-by, the pool was not the main attraction.

I would not hesitate to stay here again and also would not hesitate to recommend the Villas to any adults who are looking to unwind and be treated so well in paradise.

Room Tip: The walk back from the beach is a little rocky and a little bit of an incline. Take your time and d...

This hotel is delightful. Jackie and her trusty team (special mention to Ryan and Doreen) have created a 'home away from home' but with the service of a high end hotel. Jackie's attention to detail is really impressive and the food was wonderful. She even treated us both to a massage whilst we were there - which was such a thoughtful thing to do. We stayed for three nights at the start of our trip and it really helped us to 'chill' and we wouldn't hesitate to return.

Room Tip: Our room (4) opened out on to the terrace above the pool and was quite lovely
