We stayed in the Rock Cottage,I was there for my friends wedding.
If you can afford it,it is one of the most beautiful resorts in the world.Rock Cottage is a private 5 bedroom villa in Blue Waters hotel. It has a secluded beach that we swam to and had all to ourselves. We were up until 3am every night swimming in the ocean and partying in our private villa which had a nice sized plunge pool.
The staff were very nice and Julie at the front desk helped us organize some trips including hiring a catamaran boat the Tiami which was the highlight of our trip(except for my friends wedding of course.)We had 17 people on the boat and it came to about $80 per person. That included a great barbecue lunch and snorkeling at Cades reef.Captain Mango and his crew were the nicest bunch of guys you'll ever meet.
The food at the hotel was really good and the house wines were also very good if you are on the all inclusive.
If I have a win at the racetrack,i'll be back there in no time.

I booked this trip as a surprise trip for my parners birthday and he loved it!!!

the only thing he faulted the hotel with was the food(it was great but such small portions as it's gourmet and so he was starving)

the hotel was truly beautiful, every aspect of it was first class, and so special..you get a real feel for the caribbean here,as i't so peaceful and relaxing.(not for teenagers,or kids)and the staff were amazing ..you really can't believe how friendly every single one of them are.

the housekeeping staff change the sheets every day(and turn the mattresses)and do a fantastic job..and are really helpful, and friendly....

also I was sick one day for 30 hours or so and they really did go out of their way to help me,by bringing room service (as i had to eat something),and just generally being great..
nothing is too much trouble here,in fact my partner thought that they would be more upset if he hadn't told them i was ill!!!
I have recommended this place to all my friends...
if you are thinking of going away for a romantic peaceful beautiful time then you should book now!!!as you will love it here!!

Great hotel, one of the finest AI's in the Caribbean IMHO as it doesn't feel like a 'typical All Inclusive'. Really jacked up the rooms and if you must watch tv then they've plasma's in the new rooms 100 block. Although the view from the balconies more than supasses any US television shows!
Oh and these rooms have walk-in showers rather than the shower/bath in the other rooms.
We had one of the Deluxe Beachfront's in block 500, which I think is the best located block. Right above the fabulous new swimming pool and sun deck.
My gripe is my fellow Brits who holidayed there...towels on the sunbeds at 07h30 is not on. Not sure what the Germans thought who were also staying there. Pack it in...you know who you are. Other than that a really great bunch of holidaymakers of all ages mixing with the great staff. Enjoy it, it's hard not too!

Just returned after 1 week followed by 1 week at coco reef in tobago (Blue waters is far superior) , Blue Waters is made up off 9 'motel' blocks (100 thru 900) , as you look from the sea ; block 100 thru 300 are to the right of the open fronted reception / bar and Palm restaurant areas and the other blocks are to the left . I would say that block 100 is the premium block due to its position , downstairs rooms at block 400/ 500 have loads of foot traffic in front of their balcony's so lack privacy , blocks 800 and 900 are behind blocks 600 and 700 so the downstairs rooms would not have a sea view , blocks 600 and 700 although a walk from the main hotel have great sea views . The rooms are not as plush as the brochure / web site indicates but are very comfortable , the food in both Palm and Vyvians are top class but it is the staff that make the difference , they are experienced , proffesional and very very friendly , nice people . In my view the hotel suits best couples /familys of all ages looking for a quiet classy break , it would not suit teenagers . Entertainment in the evening is limited to background small bands and if you like long walks on beaches then forget it , here the beach is tiny with sun beds limited to around 30 in total but the pools areas are very good with two of the pools (one new) having a beach bar so easy to get drinks . The hotel is in the middle of nowhere so also forget about going for a walk outside , it is a 15 min taxi ride from the capital St Johns (little more then a shanty town) , You can also get daily english newspapers delivered to your room each morning via the internet .wonderful .
Very very enjoyable hotel with great staff , recommended
